SteelSeries PrismCaps

PRISMCAPS are a great key cap upgrade to your keyboard's existing key caps – I have been looking for pudding/prism key caps for my Corsair Strafe MKII keyboard (see my review here: https://www.productreview.com.au/reviews/773447a3-d407-4bd1-8028-2b603ca9ab92 ). I found a few sets that I like but unfortunately, most of them did not have keys in their set to fit the nonstandard bottom row of keys on Corsair keyboards. So reading a lot of reviews, I found these and saw a number of people had posted pictures and videos of them on their Corsair keyboards.

I purchased the set and they are better than I expected. In that, they were easy to replace, I like the feel of typing on them better than the original Corsair key caps, and while not clear, the translucent bottom of the key caps let an amazing amount of light through. They literally look like the pictures and such on the Steelseries website.

Bonus is they're double-shot PBT so should last a loooooong while too.

There are 2 main reasons for the 4 stars instead of 5, all of which I knew before purchasing them: 1) I wish all the special keys had words/letters on them. For instance, we have "CTRL" on the control keys, but wish they could have put CAPS LOCK, ENTER, SHIFT, and wordings on those keys as well instead of just the symbols. 2) I much prefer the design of the G.Skill pudding keycaps and wish Steelseries had a set with a similar design.

None of the above are show stoppers by any means, but since given the limited choices of such key caps for Corsair keyboards and none meet everything I want, I have to downgrade the rating.

These key caps will also supposedly fit Razer and Hyper-X keyboards, but I can't confirm that.

I am quite happy with their look and performance on my Corsair keyboard, and would recommend them to anyone with a Corsair looking to upgrade.
