Stihl HS 85

Stihl-HS85 – I have this hedge trimmer the HS-85 the blade opening is 1-1/2" width . And built like a tank. The engine is some what loud. Unlike, the newer Stihl models dur to the osha requirements and not to heavy in weight and a good size fuel tank. I will take this model over the newer Stihl hedge trimmers models anytime. Even though this is an older model. If you can find one of these older models buy it you wont regret it. Heavy duty hedge trimmer.

Excellent – Very impressed, but what else would you expect from Stihl, I use their chainsaws as well, more expensive than other brands, but as we all know you get what you pay for. This is not a toy trimmer that is bothered by small twigs, it powers on through, with the large blade it allows you to reach out further and also cut down your time spent trimming. I have a number of large hedges and they have never looked so good. Thanks Stihl for another excellent product. Powerful, nice long blade, single sided blade, always cutting away from yourself. Little bit heavy, but not much, this is easily outweighed by the pro's

Excellent – very nice machine to trim your hedges if they are out of shape or growing to big in your front lawn or around your house. i love the amount of power this hedge trimmer has when i rev it using the throtle, it also has a long blade so you don't have to be standing so close to the hedge that your cuting incase something flies out of the hedge. This machine is very easy to start and control, so i really like it when i clean up my hedges. i really think that this hedge trimmer is perfect, i can't think of anything wrong with this machine.
