Stihl SH 85

Good – GREAT BLOWER VAC! Use stihl oil take your time to mix it properly and it will work perfectly. Read the manual and follow the starting instructions and you'll have no problems, it cleans up around my whole house in a few minutes and does a great job. Takes about 5 or 6 pulls to start from cold but once it's warm just 1. Cost me $560 Plenty of power, trigger lock, simple to start and stop. The twist lock for tubes needs a better design. It's bit noisy so you'll need earplugs or earmuffs.

Terrible – Very poor product given normal performance and reliabity of stihl. dealer back-up was very poor and I was charged for tuning when the product was under warranty Good power and performance Poor starting even with Stihl oil, sucker tube falls off

Good – This is a follow up. The black plastic nozzle was replaced with no fuss (Excellent vendor service). The vendor agreed it was a part problem after testing it himself. It seems much tighter now. However, it could be improved in design, as it can still too easily allow the user to twist the black nozzle past its click in position. Stihl should consider a minor design improvement around this connection mechanism. In all, I would recommend the SH 85 Stihl blower Vacuum over other brands. It works better now was frustrating but, part has been replaced, no fuss.
