Didn't last long for the price – It was really great when it worked, not heavy, pretty blue lights. But at less than 16 months old it died on us, by first short cutting (I think that's the term for it) the fuse in the house. The replacement guarantee was only 12 months old. Not great for a kettle at $69. UPDATE: I contacted Sunbeam & I wasn't expecting this, but after taking my case into consideration they have sent me a brand new replacement kettle. Let's see how this goes. Warranty on the new one is 3 months I'm told.

Not perfect and dangerous – Basically the lid fell into the hot boiling water pot springs and all. Had to send back The click button was flimsy was disappointing and actually dangerous I actually only have the lid that’s all I have to show because I had sent it back

Best kettle we have found – We are very happy with this kettle. It lasted the longest since our British-made Russell Hobbs back in the 80's. We use ours very frequently, and it lasted 3.5 years before the lid hinge broke (a design weakness). We just bought the same model again to replace it. The flat bottom makes it very easy to clean the scale. It is advertised as quieter, and it is a bit quieter at first, it gradually sounds more like a standard kettle as it ages. We are happy to recommend this model to anyone.

Great kettle – Bought this kettle a week ago from Target to replace my old one, which stated to leak. I was looking for a glass kettle with blue light. My family is very satisfied with it. This kettle is much quieter compared to my old one. Also, I like the design, it looks great.

Tastes like plastic – Bought this from Target. Looks great. Within a few days my tea started tasting funny. At first I thought it was the tea bags so changed these. No difference. Then I checked the kettle and it had a strong plastic smell inside the bowl. Husband agreed. Will be returning.
