within days of use burn marks appeared on internal base from the element, waiting to see how before the 'stainless' starts to rust?
Didn't last long for the price – It was really great when it worked, not heavy, pretty blue lights. But at less than 16 months old it died on us, by first short cutting (I think that's the term for it) the fuse in the house. The replacement guarantee was only 12 months old. Best kettle we have found – We are very happy with this kettle. It lasted the longest since our British-made Russell Hobbs back in the 80's. We use ours very frequently, and it lasted 3.5 years before the lid hinge broke (a design weakness). We just bought the same model again to replace it.
