Love it! – This is a perfect fixture in my kitchen. I can cook basically anything including roasts, casseroles, cakes, scones, etc. You name it! I'd be lost without my Sunbeam. My mother has one too and we also have the Skillet which I use on a daily basis. In fact, my mother bought both of these in Sydney and shipped them to me here in Singapore. Worth the… Read more ·  1

I'm a bit worried as there's a message from Product Review saying that the Sunbeam Classic Frypan has been replaced by the Sunbeam Classic Banquet FP5910. I don't like glass lids as I prefer baking and love the high domed lid. Can Sunbeam confirm this?

My only criticism is that Sunbeam used to have great recipe books. There are quite a few recipes in the instruction manual but not anywhere near as good as back in the 80s. To overcome this problem I've been scouting for vintage electric frypan cookbooks on eBay. I think Sunbeam should update these as I really don't think a lot of people are aware of how versatile these electric frypans are.

The jury is still out – I bought the aluminium frypan after reading other reviews on this site. My first, and as yet, only time that I've used the pan was to cook crumbed cutlets. Unfortunately, the crumbed cutlets stuck to the pan, despite the amount of oil they were cooking in, and when turned over became un-crumbed cutlets. Could be my questionable cooking skills, but… Read more

I'm not all that confident that my next attempt at cooking anything, won't also result in it sticking. Perhaps the non-stick model might have been a better choice. We'll see.

Excellent Product So Much better than the teflon coated ones !!! – I bought this aluminium sunbeam frypan about a month ago to replace my other sunbeam frypan after getting sick & tired of the so called non stick coating coming off my older one. Really easy to clean as others have said use any utensil you like on it & washing up is a breeze warm soapy water and its clean in no time regardless if you use… Read more

stainless steel to clean the hard bits of baked on food or not :) Aluminium coating use any utensils you like in it without a problem.. no need to worry if the kids grab a metal egg slice anymore, cheap too , still large enough to cook a roast meal

Great Frypan – Decided to purchase a stainless steel frypan instead of the usual non-stick models. So easy to clean and you can use any type of tools in this. Cooking in it is so great and the vent on top is in a good position to prevent burning your hand when lifting off the lid whilst cooking is in progress. Good sturdy side handles which offer a good grip when picking it up.Would reccomend this product to anyone. Easy clean and using any type of utensils

Excellent – Have had this frypan for about 18 months and it has exceeded my expectations, especially considering the fact that it wasn't particularly expensive. Can thoroughly recommend it. Cooks really well & evenly; very easy to clean; high dome lid that allows you to cook lamb roasts, cakes etc Nothing as yet

Excellent – I was given a Sunbeam Frypan 10 years ago as a wedding present, I have used it many times and often when my oven has been out of action due to renovations, cleaning or a husband hogging the oven. It is great for cooking casseroles as you can brown the meat then pop the other ingredients in set the temperature you need and put the lid on. I always… Read more

use it for fry up breakfasts as it is larger than a stovetop frypan. Goes in the dishwasher! Easy to control heat settings, a God-send when you need to cook and your oven is out of action.
