Great Kettle for this price – Kettle is made of plastic and internal base is mettle base. Heats up water to boiling point in close to 1 minute. For this price that Amazon sells for, it is great product. We had it for couple of weeks so far and we are quite happy with it. Show details

Great product, – Neat and stylish, easy to fill, doesn't take up a lot of space, bright indicator light showing when it's in operation. After an operation of boiling, the surface feels warm, not hot. Safe for those people who are not careful enough. Shiny black and not heavy. Good to go. Will keep using and commen later. Show details

Won't buy again – I replaced my Kmart kettle hoping that the noise level would be a little less (I had done some research). boiling. It didn't stop. I have experienced this before with a cheap kettle many years ago from Big W. So I warned my partner to keep an eye next time he boiled the kettle. A couple of hours later it did the same thing. It won't turn off. Very, very dangerous and I see on this review page I am not the only one.

Anyway I can't find my digital receipt or paper from Harvey Norman (I know my bad) and it's outta 12 months anyway. I had my old Kmart kettle still and the funny thing is I have noticed it boils in half the time of the Sunbeam. I have had the Kmart $15 kettle for near on 18 months (with 6 months in storage) so that's .83cents a month so far. I am sticking with the Kmart brand from now on.

Not good buy – auto cut off only works sometimes kettle continues to boil and needs to be monitored for safety. i will be replacing this as a waste of money unfortunatley. not happy Show details

technology for clean-tasting water, and Sunbeam's kettle I just bought March 2019 definitely boils perfectly hot without any white cloud that seems to surface if you try boiling a cup of water in a microwave oven. Water level is visible behind the handle and the light indicator switches on just below the switch below the handle so you don't have to turn the kettle around to see the light if you are left or right handed. Nice shiny black dust-proof and long-term unnecessary dish-washing look design and because I only use it myself with just over the minimum water level for one cup of coffee a night with blackcurrant juice instead of sugar without milk - I don't really notice the hot suface of the kettle because Sunbeam made sure it's thick surface is safe from accidental hand touch,

Great kettle – My wife wanted to get a few things for the kitchen that looked a little better so we chose the Sunbeam Diamond Collection Kettle KE1900K - Black. We use it regularly, it's fast, works well, looks great & is pretty quiet which is really good as I'm a bad sleeper so I regularly want a coffee around 5.00am & it doesn't wake anyone else in the house unlike my Aldi coffee maker which would probably wake the neighbours.  Show details

What a joke!! – I bought this and followed the instructions making sure everything was correct, filled with water and started the boil to empty like it says, only for it to not stop boiling. the base and messed with the cord, the lid, everything, read through the manual again and again, the stupid kettle still wouldn't stop boiling, I was getting burnt hands from the water splattering everywhere! Its a faulty one or doesn't it switch off I wondered, geez! Its suppose to have a three way safety system, automatically switching off was one of them but no go. I complained to the company and they are sending me out a new one, I am almost too scared to try it again, when things like this happen you just don't want any product the same, you tend to think they are all faulty, I haven't received it yet but gee I have been annoyed, worries me cause what if I think its okay and I put the kettle on and leave it and it continues to boil until the element blows if I am not in the room or something??
