Very impressed – SUNBEAM Simply Shine Kettle is simply the best electric kettle I have owned, this includes far more expensive ones I've bought in the past. The pouring spout is designed not to spill, it is quiet and fast to boil. Also can be placed on the base from any angle. I totally recommend this kettle.

Disappointing – Just over a year of use out of this and it is dead. It’s very frustrating because it wasn’t entirely cheap ($80). I’d have been better buying the $10 shanner from Kmart. Unfortunately Sunbeam (or the parent company) have decided not to honour the warranty. I’ll have to avoid this brand in future.

Not even a week old and leaking water through the handle – The Sunbeam Simply Shine 1.7L Kettle - White was purchased less than one week ago and already it is leaking water through the handle. So dangerous and what has happened to your quality control? An absolute lemon... at almost $80 you expect a lot more.
