Great design - poor construction – Light and easy to use until lower aluminium bars come off their too short, soft plastic spigots (only a few weeks). VERY hard to get back on. Had to use 3 pieces of lashing to prevent a repeat. So frustrating when products are designed to appear of good quality while concealing shortcuts in design that only manifest themselves during use. I’d be happy to pay more for a trouble free product. Show details

VERY DISAPPOINTING – Have had this clothes airer for a few weeks and was hoping that by using it on a regular basis, my opinion would change but sadly, it has not. Firstly: not easy to fold and as a senior, I have to leave it standing outside because I cannot fold it away. Secondly: the "hangers" on each side of the top rail was, I thought a great idea and one of the… Read more

main reasons I chose it; however the groves in the black bars are not deep enough to safely hold even a wire coat hanger and I am sick of finding clothes hung that way, blown to the floor in even the slightest wind. Lastly, the entire airer has twice blown over, neither time was it overloaded so to safely use it on even the slightest windy day, ensure that I tie it to the arm of the courtyard bench! Ridiculous!! I am so pleased I only paid $30 (Bunnings) but if I had waited a bit longer, could have got it for $19 (Aldi)!

Forty Bucks for a Lifetime of Use – OK, so it hasn't been a lifetime since I bought this from Bunnings, but after experiencing cheaper, flimsy and ultimately unreliable ones, I bit the bullet and spent $40 on this clothes airer . That was six years ago, and it's still as sturdy as ever, shows no sign of rust or wear and tear. Even similarly designed ones showed sagging in the rods… Read more

after a year. We have a household of five people who use this thing constantly. Rust on cheaper ones can leave stains on clothes, and when the white coating comes off the rods, can poke holes through fabric. No thank you. It's also lightweight and folds away for storage. Highly recommend if you don't want to have to worry whether that load of wet towels will send your clothes airer crashing down.
