great bike – This bike is great fun to ride would recommend This bike has good power brakes are good Only down side is the fuel Only get 150 ks out of a tank
Best of all worlds – I bought my GSR 600 18 months old with 4000km on the clock. I fell in love with it on the test ride. Great power to weight ratio with handling and braking that inspire you to push to the outer end of the envelope. All the guys I ride with have larger bikes but the GSR blows most of them away in the tight stuff. Super comfortable with an upright riding position leaves you comfortable at the end of the day. Tight handling, excellent brakes, easy seating position, confidence in the bike, cheap thrills. Mirrors were useless, needed extending. A small screen is a must at speeds over 100kph.
Excellent – The only reason I can see that these bikes are not rolling out of the showroom is Suzuki's lack of decent color options. Red or the blue with silver plastic panels and frame is not a good look. I didn't even consider test riding this bike until I saw one in all black. I'm glad I did because it exceeded all my expectations and was in my garage after just one ride.
The GSR600 offers long distance comfort with a sporting attitude. It's light weight but is still a decent size so the rider does not feel cramped. It offers a fun, powerful package with a carefree riding experience only found on a naked bike. It looks fast even when stationary and is rare and pretty enough to attract plenty of positive attention from bikers and non bikers alike.
If you are considering a fun middle weight bike try one out and you will be surprised. Comfortable upright riding ergonomics. Dash layout is excellent with useful information and very easy to read.
Fun engine with strong midrange pulling power combined with a good step up in high end power.
Looks excellent in all black option
Great handling due to quality frame and swing arm. Adequate Suspension adjustment for switching between comfort and thrash modes.
Excellent finish and quality for a relatively cheap price. GSXR-600 performance for a $3000 discount
helmet hooks and a u-lock storage space under the seat. Seat easy to remove and put back. Handle bar buzz at freeway speed (fixed by replacing the rear 48 tooth sprocket with a 45 tooth sprocket).
The reported snatchy fuel injection problem from off to full throttle, this was also completely fixed with the above sprocket change (looks like this symptom was the result of extremely close gearing rather than the fuel injection that is now perfectly smooth).
All other colors except the black looks tacky like a cheap laptop or a crashed car fixed with different colored panels.
Mirrors only show how beefy your shoulders look (fixed with extenders or after-market mirrors).
Wind blast at freeway speeds (fixed with a taller screen).
Steering angle a bit narrow for a naked bike (only a nuisance when parking sideways behind your car in the garage).
Wish the Tank was 19 instead of 16.5 litres (but still manages 270kms per tank at freeway speeds)
Hey mate
Sorry I wrote a response but the web site for some reason only posted the first two words. If I were to do it again I would put a 46tooth on the rear to keep a fraction more acceleration. It helped heaps with the snatchy throttle. Still not quite as smooth as the other honda's and yamaha's I have owned but a massive improvement over stock. If you are still not happy get a power commander and remap the fuel system.

Hey mate, Have just purchased a GSR600 and are finding the throttle snatch really annoying and have also heard about adjusting the TPS sensor to adjust the fuel injection. However have tried this with no luck. Did the sprocket change really eliminate the snatch?
