Just don’t – Invited on this 50ft sports cruiser which was hired by someone we know for NYE. Boat arrived late, boat dirty and in major disrepair, amenities not working, no supplies of anything on board like knives, forks, serving platter, glasses. Had to eat steak with our hands. Zero service. Skipper had no idea what he was doing and seemed more interested in filming the fireworks for his family than doing his job competently. Deckhand unqualified who we later found out answered a Facebook ad to work the day before. Boat should be sunk rather than hired out. We felt awful for the person who spent an absolute fortune to hire this for his family & friends. Whilst NYE fireworks in Sydney are always spectacular, this experience was disappointing and unprofessional.
