Talon 22cc / 25cc Petrol

Terrible – Well I bought one for our recently planted hedges and could never get the thing started by normal means. Managed to fire it up by priming the carb directly with a cap of fuel but as soon as that ran out, the engine stopped. Seems it wouldn't draw fuel from the tank. No idea why. Returned to the shop and they were great but stated TALON service was terrible. Full refund provided without question. Seemed comfortable to hold Bit heavy, poor service support. Never got to use it.

Bad – we have had many problems with this machine and now the thing is not accelarating deaccelarating i would not buy if you are thinking about it go to honda or echo pay the extra cash Handles are in good spot heavy and its a 2 stroke

Good – Lasted three Years without a problem, Needs minor repair, a small spring at the drive cog of the blades. Cuts to 25mm with out problem. Have only lubricated blades never sharpened in 3 years, still very sharp. Starts fine every time, two / three pulls and its away I would the hedger fortnightly approx 50 metres muraya and privit. I Purchased this trimmer over the others due to its comfortable handle and put the weight factor second. Very robust in its design , smooth lines just heavy. In a nutshell great hedger just a bit heavy. Very Comfortable to hold and operate To heavy
