Not worth the trouble – Good picture quality. But that only lasted for first 6 months. The TV gets extremely slow over time and starts having issues such as screen bleeding. Luckily mine was replaced under warranty but the second started having same issues. Would have been better to save up and gone with a more reputable brand.

This could of been so good – I have had my second unit for about a year now the first one was plagued with problems mainly due to very bad software, now they have updated the android operating system and for the first minute after booting I can do anything on the tv for 1 min obviously a ram problem, but in 1080 2k 4K the movies are stunning. My other gripe is the tv usb will only take a fat 32 usb which means the largest file you can have is 4 gb otherwise windows will not let you transfer it. The original rrp was 6k now half that price If your prepared to put up with a few faults the sound is fantastic even to the inbuilt subwoofer seperate from the onkyo soundbar
Just an Amazing product offering that's innovative and nothing else in the market like this – This TV ticks all the boxes for me. I needed a 75" tv with great picture quality to replace my Sony 2018 model. It's mini led so is close to OLED black levels ( indistinguishable unless side by side ) but its brightness beats any oled / oled backlight hybrids. brightness can go to eye blinding levels at 100%. One thing that other competitors do not offer is a great soundbar with woofer in the TV. My setup is unique, i run book shelf speakers together with the TV soundbar as a sort of center channel. Set the audio to standard mode and have my book shelf 2.1 speakers to provide even more bass with large subwoofer.
There's a tv setting that allows for multiple audio outputs through the headphone jack I also run tactile transducers for my home theater system through the balanced headphone output with a splitter. Works a treat. Definitely snag one. even the 2022 models do not offer the soundbar anymore.
for anyone looking for a minimalist home theater setup, its a great all in one package with room filling sound.

Is this an OLED? – WOW is my first words! Is this an OLED? no lol, however it is very very close to OLED with the added benefit of never getting screen burn in! I have rated this 5 stars, because there is huge amounts of reason why - though I do have a couple of points in comparison to another LED older TV that I will place further down. I will start of with the sound quality This TV set has integrate Onkyo sound bar and subwoofer and ATMOS and WOW it sounds fantastic, playing for the first time I was really impressed and was wondering if the sound was coming through my AV but nope its solely from the TV sent - the C825 literally has the best speakers I have ever heard on any television and it is very clear and sounds fantastic. The BASS has depth and the tones, especially dialogue is very clear and first time I was playing it I was surprised to get atmos experience as it was atmospheric as being surrounded and this really surprised me, its a TV set - I will add not to be unrealistic a AV fully ATMOS will ultimately will be the best experience for sound but for a TV set you could actually get away from having an AV within the C825
The picture quality, fantastic - its almost the same grade as OLED and never having OLED or this quality I am not used to it - I have had fantastic TV but the blacks wow they are truly great - I am so used to ordinary LED I am still adjusting. It supports all HDR - dolby vision, HDR10+ and there is a huge amount of choices in regards to adjusting the picture from all perspectives It is also very close to Plasma quality in picture. Motion rate is great, no stutter and from what i see there is no bloom or halo affects so very happy with picture quality - I would have gone OLED but I use it for a computer and well OLED do get screen burn where these TV sets do not based on all info but also LED in previous has never got screen burn.
This TV also supports 2 HDMI 4k/120hz with e/ARC and 2 HDMI 2.0 ports so for gaming its brilliant, this is why I got this, for the PS5 and Series X consoles, has ethernet and wifi, has USB composite inputs also, so there is ample amount of choices and upscales picture to 4k
It is heavy also 35+KG's - it is not something that you can just do by yourself, in regards to installation especially wall mounting but very solid build, I do not see this as a problem as the aspects of the TV is what really defines this.
Now mentioned comparing with my previous TV which was a MU7000premium by samsung - Now this is somewhat hard to state in regards because I gave 5 out of 5 and it does deserve this rating by myself, however the Samsung I love, the user interface, the TCL is different and massive qualities and benefits but the essence of the Samsung was slightly better - from the remote control, more premium feel and the menu system and quick response, there is some aspects of the samsung that I found better - but this comment is not a let down to the TCL because the samsung never had dolby vision and the blacks were not as good its a trivial aspect on my behalf.
The TCL C825 is a brilliant TV set - I am still yet to work out how to use e/ARC but thats in the AV side of things, I still cannot get over how good the TV sounds - do i recommend the TCL C825, if you are running a PC and do gaming then I say yeah - it is a very nice TV set is it the best tv on the market? that is the choice of the person preferences but it is amongst the best on the market
Excellent TCL 75C825 TV – Been using the TV for 2 weeks now and all I can say is it’s impressive. Feature rich including 4K 120Hz, HDR10+ Dolby Vision IQ and IMAX Enhanced, this TV delivers brightness which I haven’t seen before (sometimes blinding, on paper 500 nits sustained) and vivid colours picture. Being a MINI Led TV, it also has very good contrast and black level, ‘almost’ as good as OLED. When watching HDR even SDR content, the picture really pops. Upscaling is good as well. The build quality is top notch, feels premium and the sound from TV is probably the best amongst all the TV so far, with the built in soundbar and subwoofer by Onkyo. The TV UI is snappy and responsive even though it’s using Android UI. Issue so far is with Google assistant not working (not really an issue as I’m not using the function anyway). Another one is when both Hdmi 2.1 are in use (two sources on concurrently) there will be intermittent flicker on screen, this might be an issue with hdmi cables in use or the controller on tv which hopefully can be fixed with a firmware update in future if the latter is the case.. no issue when only one hdmi source is on. overall, very satisfy with performance of the TV worth the price for Mini LED tech with performance as good as or even better than the flagship LCD TV from the top brands (Sony X90J, Samsung QN90A even etc) and it even comes with 3 years warranty…
