Glass door exploded, extremely dangerous! – The inner glass exploded all through the oven, and our roast veggies, it's only 4-5 years old, extremely disappointed, tried to call Technika, left on hold for 30 minutes. Disgusted.

Absolutely disappointed – The technika oven came with the house package,constant problems with this oven, firstly the light burnt out then a couple years later the oven started to switch itself off every time i use the oven, and doesn't turn back on for approx 20 mins, then turns back off again. This occurs every time i use the oven, i have contacted technika but they advised me that the warranty has expired, which i understand it has, and i need to pay to get it repaired. This is extremely disgusting, an oven shouldn't last 4 years. I believe this is a faulty oven, it shouldn't overheat, this is definitely a HAZARD. To purchase such an expensive product, and to have such issues after only 4 years is a disappointment. Obviously this has been a major hazard previously, as this item is now discontinued. Technika has been very unhelpful in regards to this matter. I would of imagined they would of replaced it, but instead technika didn't do anything about it. I highly do not recommend anyone to purchase this oven. As you can see on the picture even the number on the end of time isnt correct, which seems like an electrical issue. I will definitely be taking this futher and will be in contact with the ombudsman.

Hi Rachel I have contacted technika several times in regards to this issue, but unfortunately their reply was that warranty has expired. I understand that it has , but for such an issue/hazard, i assumed technika would have looked into this matter.

Average yet easy to clean – Came with our Carlisle home as a standard inclusion. Cooks brilliantly, however seems to heat a little too fast for my recepies so i needed to set it on a lower temperature. Programmable clock is complicated to set to do the auto cooking modes. Overall suits my kitchen and is easy to clean.

Well, it cooks – This was the upgraded appliance in our builder's package, probably wouldn't have picked it for myself. The oven heats up quickly and has plenty of room, but it does seem to get too hot on top. I often have to cover things or they burn in the specified cooking time. Also it puts out A LOT of heat during use. There are heat vents at the top of the oven and the surrounding cabinets get very hot to the touch after minimal use. I am concerned that this may be an issue for us in the long run.
