Good afternoon Helen thank you for your enquiry the oven has gone to demo mode. You can find how to do this in your manual or turn oven off press the P and + at the same time until you hear it beep or you cant turn the oven off at the circuit breaker and turn back on and re-set the clock - regards Sharron

Thank you for your response. On page 11 it mentions the oven mode symbol to turn light on. Can I assume that if the light does not turn on during cooking and the globes are replaced that there is an issue with the wires/ connections etc?

There are screws in the top of the oven door that you undo. This will then allow you to slide the inner pane out. Just be careful with it. It may be slippery from any grease on it and they are $$$ to replace.

My door has no screws to loosen to take the glass out.

Thanks Elaine, for your style door you will need to lift the glass from the bottom and slide towards you (out) to remove as they are clips in stead of screws. Please note that this will make the door lighter so it would be best to use the small locks on the side to stop the door from closing. Thanks

How to get the oven off D mode I have the electric oven t948ss5

If the D error is in the yellow section you will need to hold the 2 highlighted buttons together until it resets, if neither works you can reset it by turning it off at the mains. Thanks

I have the same issue, oven heats up, loses power after 20 mins and I have a half cooked meal. Power returns and I may get 10 mins then before it loses power again. I have written to Technika through their website and did not receive a response. Now I’ve had to pay an electrician and they are trying to contact Technika and also cannot make contact. It’s a few thousand dollars to replace, so where on earth is Technika Tech support or customer service… it would be nice to use the oven for Christmas but it’s been months just finding a way to communicate with Technika. Shocking product and service!

Did anyone find out what the issue was?

I got a appliance repair guy out and he replaced the cooling fan, he said that was the probable issue.

has anyone solved this as i have the same issue. this looking like is a common issue maybe technika should do a investigation all even recall this oven.

The control panel, linked in this response is different from the one on page 11 of the User Manual, in that there is NOT light on/off button. I've found that I can touch the Select button, one after the other, and the lights will come on.

Is this how you switch the lights on/off? Is there a correct way.

The lights on only mode is very useful for proofing dough during Melbourne winter.

Door is still not repaired as we are waiting on a door to come from China we have been told and have paid for it as we were sick of waiting for technika to help , originally when we reported the problem we only required the latches , but the metal was damaged anyway so new door was the only real outcome

Have not been contacted so guess this return message was just to make them look like their making an effort to resolve the issue but not going to do anything sick to death of dealing with this joke of a company

It has been order through one of your service providers but we have paid for it and will be taking it to as high as we can go because I am 1000000% positive we did nothing to it as it let go in my hand when it let go
