Design fault, but claimed "normal" from TECO Australia – Toy. Purchased from Ejoy Australia, delivered by TECO official warehouse and obviously a faulty one. Seller refused to return on the excuse of their location in Queensland, and that item was sent by TECO Victoria. Instead, provided number illegally for me to seek solutions from manufacturer. Called the manufacturer service as advised in 2 days after item arrived, bad attitudes from Teco service department, and it requested service fees even though it's under warranty. I booked in for the service, many transfer calls, and waited for a few days then got a disrespectful call from a “technician” on TECO's number stopping me from explaining the issue, and said "no problem, no problem" with the air conditioning.

Probably too many returns that The Good Guys changed the description to "Cooling Only" for the same model

Compressor obviously shuts so frequently in heat and TECO's contractor technician said no problem claiming it room too small. I moved it to larger room the other day for heating with same issue. It's not going to save bills when compressor on and off, and consumers should be aware if that's the nature of "normal" TECO inverter compressor. The wait time for compressor to auto re-start just makes the room cold again... The watts meter displays 1300watts while the room temperature reached over set temperature, but that would be much higher energy consumption than my previous Vostok portable AC, which warms up quickly. Save your money and time. How funny the price is almost two times than split system on the market. Never again!
