The best toaster in the world – Many years of reliable toasting and the handle has finally fallen off - will be glued back on. I hope it keeps going > Reliable, removable crumb tray and count down timer Nothing besides handle fallen off. Why don't they make this toaster any more
OK – Had this toaster for a number of years, although was in storage for 3 years whilst living overseas. It is an ok toaster with some nice features but is poorly made, not very sturdy especially the levers. It is probably the best toaster I have owned so far but will probably go for a breville next time. Good looks and functions. Lever falls off, control indicator marks have faded so can't be read anymore. Toasts unevenly.
Excellent – This is our favourite appliance of all time! I think our family and friends though we were a bit weird having a toaster with an LCD screen, but it's quite helpful knowing how long the toast will take and having it beep dutifully at you when done. We've had ours for well over 5 years and will happily buy the 4 slice version if it's available later when we're ready to upgrade. Wide slots to fit all sorts of bread products, angled base and slots means you can see more easily what your toast is up to, lever to help push up items to get them out more easily, easy to cancel, crumb tray is fairly effective.
Good – As far as functionality goes, I was looking for a toaster that toasted my bread evenly on both sides, and for the first couple of months, it did. Now (almost 2 years later), the browning isn't so even. But at the end of the day, it is only a toaster and it does still look flash and makes my toast for me, so not too many complaints! :-) We have the 4 slice model. It looks awesome sitting on the bench, a very formidable looking thing! It has a memory function (very handy) that remembers the setting you had it on before your son came along and changed it!! The wide slots accommodate thick-sliced bread, bagels, crumpets, muffins etc, no worries at all. It also has a little lever that lifts your toast, making it easier to remove without burning the fingers. My favourite thing is that it counts down the time remaining. No more hovering over the toaster wondering why it's taking (what seems like) 10 minutes!! Two months after getting the thing, the lever broke. My husband stuck it back on with super-glue!! It still works fine, but with the amount of money you fork out for it, you kind-of expect a certain level of quality in workmanship.
Excellent – The best. Stylish, makes good toast as well as bagels & crumpets. Where do we buy anorther one for our other property.
