Hi Del, please reach out to parts@residentiagroup.com.au, along with the full model code & serial number shown on the rating label (usually found on the inside of the oven door) and they should be able to help.

My piro function doesn't seem to be working anymore. It goes through the process but doesn't actually clean.

Hi Julie, thanks for your question and sorry to hear of your issue. This particular model is one that was imported and sold by a previous distributor many years ago, however we would love to try and help you resolve this issue. Please reach out to our Customer Care team on 1300 11 4357 or via email support@residentiagroup.com.au and we can try to work through some troubleshooting.

We have had this oven for about 7 years now, but it has developed an unusual problem: every 2-3 weeks it will not switch on, for several days: if you turn the knob, the light and fan do not turn on. You can still hear the clicking of the thermostate if you move the temperature dial, but it does not actually start heating or light up. Clock works, so it has power. After several days of malfunction, it will spontaneously work again for a few weeks. When it fails to work, nothing can convince it otherwise (tried turning power in meter box on/off).

We had it inspected by a professional, but unfortunately it had spontaneously started working again that day so we wasted the call-out fee. He could find nothing wrong, obviously.

Given that this can't be diagnosed, I am half inclined to replace it with a different brand. Anyone have any suggestions?

Is it possible to get someone to come and check what is wrong with my Teka HPE 735 Pyrolytic Oven. The tenant messaged me that the fan doesn't come on and it doesn't heat up at all, and when he last turned it on two days ago it popped loudly. Could it be a blown fuse only? I would greatly appreciate if you could point me into right direction as to where find someone who could come and check it.

Kind regards,

Brigita

How long should it take for my oven to preheat? It's taking over 30 minutes from when I turn it on until it reaches 170. Is this normal?

Teka
Teka   DM

I would not expect your oven to take that long to pre-heat although it may have something to do with the cooking function you have selected? Please email our service department - service@tekaservice.com.au to co-ordinate a service call or call us on 1300912953.

Regards - ASD Support.

My oven door will not release after I started the pirosystem. I think I have confused it as I had to stop the piro just a few minutes in as I realised I had not removed the shelf guides. Now the oven door will not open at all. Can anyone help?

Why does the grill come on when oven is in conventional mode or conventional with fan?

Teka
Teka   DM

Hello Harry, the grill element will come on when you choose the conventional oven as this function uses the top and bottom element. The same goes for conventional oven with fan. The fan is circulating the hot air generated by the top and bottom element. Cheers, ASD Team.

How can I clean the oven trays, they do not come clean with normal cleaning of hot water and soap.We are in our newly built house with a Teka pyrolytic oven,Teka gas hob and Teka dishwasher

Teka
Teka   DM

The use of a soft scourer will generally help remove most burnt on food spills, but always avoid using a harsh metal scourer and abrasive cleaners. If you would like to contact us on 1300912953 we can explain how to clean the oven trays as part of the pyrolytic cleaning cycle.
