Disappointing product – Mine is actually the 400ml. Extremely disappointed, doesn’t even stay hot for 1 hour.

Thermo cafe mug trapped water inside, unable to remove – I am an optimist; I have faith in humanity and known brand names, that is why I and most people pay a premium price for brand named products, the expectations are higher when buying and paying a premium price from reputable companies, that is why when things are not right, the disappointment is proportional to the price paid. In this instance, I am talking about a coffee mug that I purchased for my camping trips, when camped out in the wilderness on cold winter nights, keeping my coffee hot in adverse and cold environments just ads that little bit of comfort to an otherwise drab day. Firstly the good, The cup is nice to hold and has a well-placed dimple for the thumb to grip the cup, the lining is stainless steel with soft rounded edges and rests nicely on the lips, and most importantly, holds the heat of the contents well, tick. The not so good, my cup trapped some moisture/water inside the cavity under the stainless liner, I cannot get this water out! the liner does not come out and the water hisses and bubbles when hot liquids are poured in, I find this quite annoying, so I contacted Thermos to ask, how do I remove this trapped water? I was surprised to receive a response quoting "Have the products ever been submerged/soaked in water?" my response was "of course it has been in water, how else would you wash them?" in which they replied, "Thank you for getting back to us. We understand that the product has been washed in water, however we were referring to how it has been washed. Normally for any liquid to become stuck inside is when the product has been submerged/soaked in water for several minutes" my reply was "are you saying that your cups are not suitable for washing and cleaning with water? for your interest, I have timed myself washing the cup, I am calling it at 36 seconds, is this too long? I mean seriously, I never knew these cups have a washing time limit, this should be mentioned in your advertising" yes that was a bit sarcastic, but what they are saying is that I am somehow at fault for a failure in their product, I sent them pictures of the cup with the original sticky label's still attached to prove that the cup has NOT been soaking in water for long periods of time, nor has it ever been inside a dish washer, I also sent a video of the water trapped inside the cup, they stopped responding! I find that a pretty poor response from such a company. [Name Removed], from Thermos PTY Limited customer service, I am still waiting for your reply! all I want to know is, how do I remove the trapped water?
UPDATE::::::
after contacting Thermos again they offered and sent me a new mug, note; I never asked for a new mug, I was only asking, how do I remove the water? I am happy that they stood behind their product (eventually) but the question still remains, how did the moisture get inside the mug to start with?
my quest has been resolved. Thank you
