Works well hot or cold. Safety clip. 600ml. 100%. 5/5 Show details
Waste of money – Don’t suction and stay cold at all. They fill with mould so quickly even after washing and keeping lids off. They are a waste of money. Better brand to get is smash if you want to find a decent drink bottle that will stay at a nice temperature Show details
Very Poor Quality – Was easy to use and fit in my car cup holder great, but the two that I purchased, the lids on both are broken as they break very easily. Thermos used to be a reputable brand, but not so much any more. Show details
Keep my drink warm – Easy to carry and there’s grip on the side. The outside is not hot at all and keeps my drink hot for hours. There’s also a clip for the lid to ensure it won’t accidentally open and spill. The opening is also big and wide to drink Show details
Poor Quality Thermos Bottle – The 2465SKRAUS, Thermos Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated Hydration Bottle, 530ml, is a lovely looking insulated water bottle and feels good to hold. Unfortunately the bottle is let down but a low quality plastic lid that is easily broken with the slightest knock. After only a week of use, my son dropped his in the house and the lid broke into 3… Read more
pieces. As a result the bottle is useless. Alas the 5 year warranty that comes with the bottle only covers the metal flask and not the lid. Having owned other brands including Camelbak i can happily say that this particular model of flask should be avoided. It's just not built to last. As a result of the disappointing quality, we've opted to replace it with another Camelbak. They're just built to last, and this Thermos is not.
thermos customer service sucks. NEVER buy any products from Thermos – I bought a Thermos hydration bottle in November last year. The bottle started to leak and the liquid leaked out of the bottle even the bottle was straight up on the table. It was very strange because there were no obvious damages of the bottle. The orings and the lid were not damaged. I got a new replacement from Kogan. However, the leakage… Read more
problem took place again three months later. This time I complained to Kogan as well as Thermos. The customer service at Thermos was terrible, slow to respond and not helpful at all. I told them the oring was not broken but the lid seemed to be swollen. They responded two weeks later and told me that I needed to pay for the replacement because the lid was not under warranty. During the period, because they responded so slowly that I complained to Kogan again, the customer service at Kogan was pretty good and they sent me another replacement. Apparently the product is faulty, I follow the instructions provided by thermos and only put tape water and cold milk into the bottle. However, the leakage problem happens again and again. Why should I pay for the replacement of the faulty product? Thermos customer service sucks.
Favourite water bottle! – I absolutely love my Thermos Water-Bottle! Easy to fill and clean, keeps water cold. The bottle opening is large enough to accommodate standard ice cubes, which was particularly helpful when I was craving icy water through pregnancy. The lid locks securely, and never had an issue with the bottle leaking. The round inner seal in the lid has the… Read more
potential to fall out and get lost; but I’m careful to wash and replace the seal/valve straight away so I don’t misplace it. I’ve bought several water bottles over the years, but continue to default to my trusty Thermos one! Comes everywhere I go, in the car, on my bedside table, on the desk, in the school pick up line... All in all a fantastic product and definitely recommend.
Daily use for over 8 years. Our best water bottle purchase – I bought my husband and son a Thermos 2465 each at least 8 years ago. They have used them daily to carry water to school, work and the gym and they are still going strong, keeping water cold all day with no leaks. Being plain stainless steel, they still look pretty good too. Perfect size and I like the fairly wide sipping mouth that is easy to… Read more
clean and that there are no straws to get manky. And Thermos even sell replacement parts e.g. if you lose a blue washer seal or let the top lid seal get mouldy Note: the lid seals pop out very easily for cleaning. I blame the manly "just give it a quick rinse, she'll be right" - not the product! I am just about to order new black rubber hand grip cuffs as they are just starting to show wear and tear and become a bit loose after all these years of daily use. Call 1800 683 363 for parts direct from Thermos (cheaper than you find in online retail stores stocking Thermos parts). These wonderful bottles have outlasted the dozen or so prettier water bottles my daughter and I have purchased over the years which have had the paint chip/wear off, cracked when dropped or have straws that you can't clean and cannot be replaced separately when they start to give you worries that you are probably drinking mould spores! Truly excellent quality and value for money. I cannot recommend them highly enough. There are very few purchases I have made that have demonstrated such longevity.
Robust and functional – Seals well, and locks shut - good if you have it in a bag. If it is kept on its side, there can be some condensation at the top inside the lid, but no leaks, or condensation on the bottle itself. Keeps liquids cold for a long time, as promised. It's not advertised to keep liquids hot for extended periods of time, but works well to carry a hot… Read more
drink with you that you intend to drink fairly quickly (eg coffee for on the way to work). I make sure that it's at a comfortable drinking temperature before I put it into the bottle, so I don't burn myself. The mouthpiece is rounded and comfortable to drink from, and works well for milk based products, as it is easy to clean. It fits nicely in my car drink holders, and is a good size to carry in a bag. The lid seems robust, but I suspect the hinge could be broken with rougher use.
(Edit - we did break a lid, although not at the hinge, by dropping the bottle. I found one online shop that stocked the lid as a spare part (Haggus and Stookles) and had no trouble getting one, although as always, postage, if needed, adds significantly to the cost). Still very happy with the four I bought!)
Wonderful addition to my life – I have been using this product for over a year. Often I have left it in a hot car in summer and still it keeps the water cold. Now I have 2 of them, one always on my desk. The pop cap system is very convenient when driving and it has a very good fluid flow for drinking. I can't fault it!
Fantastic water bottle!! – It keeps water cool for hours. Add some ice cubes and they're still there hours and hours later - even overnight. It is meant only for COLD water so ignore the negative review. It's an absolute must for any school student.
Thermos branded HOT water bottle is so worthless it deserves NO star at all :( – have a stainless steel Thermos® branded hot water bottle that really looks beautiful :) is good for holding liquids if you don't want them to spill Is absolutely and totally useless for keeping the liquids HOT :( :( will remain just hot, after first heating up the Thermos, then putting the BOILING water into it is suitable for luke warm… Read more
water 12 hrs later.
Compared it to an elcheapo Chinese hot water container and it contained water almost too hot to drink next morning.
Contacted Thermos and was told to return it at my expense (WA to Sydney) $14, they would look at it and return it at my expense again (NSW to Bunbury) so another $14 (total now $28)
They asked me did it leak, replied no did not leak.
They asked me did it get hot on outside, replied, yes it got reasonably warm, but could still be touched.
They said it was normal :( :(
So much for Customer SERVICE @ Thermos - no wonder so many buy cheap :(
Still have the emails etc from your Thermos rep - if any Thermos Management wish to take it any further
Doesn't stay cold – I bought 2 of these and 1 FUNtainer one for my 2 yr old after reading great reviews. They are great quality but no matter how many times I try it, following the instructions to the letter, it does not stay cold as described. The company states stays cold for 12 hrs but after 4 it is back to room temperature and that is in the house!!! How it would… Read more

Know better, choose better.
Excellent – Have used this bottle for about five years. Everything about it is fantastic, durable, keeps water cold for 24 hours even when in a hot car all day. It is easy to clean as the lid screws off the wide neck, love the straw as well, making drinking when driving easy. Keeps water cold, durable, like the straw in lid so easy to drink whilst driving. Nothing.
Excellent water bottle – This water bottle does what it says, it stays cold for hours. You need to put cold water in it but after that you don't need to put it in the fridge. Would recommend to just about anybody from adult to child at school. The best water bottle I have bought and I have bought many. Stays cold and is well made A little more expensive than most water bottles but worth it.
