Worked well for 2 years then it died

As the title states. Can not expect much for $60 so do not be surprised that it does not last much longer than the warranty period. If you are happy to replace every two years then this is a good option. Used it daily for five weeks then it died, had only used it for short periods prior to that.

Can't supply any info regarding availability of this item in retail stores, but using the search term 'Tiffany hotplate' in the Home Appliances section of Ebay I found one for sale this morning, priced at $58.95 + $11.95 postage. Only problem is that I recall that the double hotplate unit I purchased a couple of years go actually cost a bit less than what is being asked for this single unit, so it seems a bit expensive.

Thank you. I managed to find a Tiffany single element hotplate (new) on EBay for $49.95, from a company called INNOVATECAU. PAH was free.
