You would think paying an extra $39.99/week would make some difference on a Dating site but boy, was i mistaken!!!... These Match Group sites, of which Tinder is 1, don't!! Absolutely freaking useless. No benefits whatsoever and it is harder to cancel your subscription than it is to rob a bank!!! Show details

Utterly useless. Save your time and money! Paid for gold membership thinking this might help I've liked many women, with an open mind and not matched or received anything in return lol Literally not one lol This is even after I paid a significant amount thinking it 'may' help with better matching etc. Nope. I added photos. Did that help? No. … Read more

I liked 'active' women in different categories and settings. Did that help? No. I verified and completed a full profile. No. No. No. Nothing made any difference.

Highway robbery with zero attempt on their part to actually me with anyone!

Waste of time and money for men in Australia and other developed countries. Same feedback from other men in AUS, USA, and Northern Europe. I’ve used the free version for years. I paid AUD $29.99 with PayPal for 1 week subscription the very first time years ago, and again recently to see if anything changed. That’s why I’m finally writing this… Read more

review. It’s setup for auto renewal fee so you have to cancel it early. At least I got an email warning of this and I cancelled the auto renewal straight away. Then got a confirmation email. You should not have to worry about such things. It’s like a scam.

The app system works by you making a profile and sending likes to others. On the free version you get to view 100 profiles a day whether you Like or Dislike them. Members must have a profile picture and account name. Eg: can put a picture of a potato and put “Secret Agent James Bond”. Report these fake profiles with no real pic of a person, they’re just wasting everyone’s time. You can like a members profile and if they like you back that’s a Match. Then you can both message each other. You get notified if another member likes or messages your profile. It's a simple system and works on occasion. Conversion rate is 10% for men, meaning even if I sent 100 likes only 10 reply. Of those 10 replies 9 are usually scammer or fake accounts. Women use it to promote their social media and business accounts, like Instagram (IG). This is against the rules and report them. It’s sad they’re so desperate for followers and attention. If you see their IG handle or tag on their profile report them as fake. They’ll never reply you or meet up. Often they’re not even in your area or country it’s a fake account. Whether a bar, restaurant, online store, or porn site. Most are fake promoting something like this. There are also both g#y and straight men with fake accounts pretending to be women, doing all the above and worse. No actual meet ups or dates. Get use to many fake profiles. I regularly report them. I think these online platforms actually makes fake profiles to keep you interested and paying subscription fees. Other young male friends have the same experience and feedback. The paid version is unlimited likes but there may not be many people in your area. IE: if there’s only 30 people in your area then no point in the paid version. If conversion rate is 10% then 30 likes may result in 3 replies. Of those 3 replies they’re all fake accounts and scammers. I feel the paid version does get likes and replies quicker, but don’t get too excited. You’re getting higher priority for all the same problems above. There’s some other minor benefits and perks you can look up on the different paid versions. The paid version can be used overseas for travel. But you could also setup a local phone and new account for that country.

Over the years the app has become less and less useful. I used to get 1-2 real profiles chatting and dates a year. I even got into a long-term relationship with one a long time ago. Now it’s none at all. I think its Tinder trying to push users onto the paid version and purposely removing any benefit of the free version. It s#cks but makes sense as they’re trying to make money from paying customers as a business. Women on the app are just using it to promote their social media and businesses. It’s ridiculous. Other men in Australia, USA, and European confirm similar feedback. Depends on your country and region. Eg: Guys who traveled Columbia and SE Asia got some dates but all the same problems apply and plenty of scams.

Female users have also confirmed all the above and on their side they get likes and message straight away. An average young woman boasted to me she was dating 15 guys from the app at one time. She was doing it for validation. Showed me screenshots of the messages as proof. It’s a really bad system and false reality. A fat ugly Karen will get likes and messages from desperate low quality men. Low quality women get a false confidence on the app and try to take advantage of everything. The high quality men think modern dating is hopeless and stay single. This is a heavily manipulated virtual reality on the internet. It’s not real. Just an internet app with bad demographics and bad management.

Approximately 9% or less of the population is online dating. This is a very small amount of people online dating and a majority are men. Ratio of 10 men to 1 woman. With that massive difference it's very hard for men online dating. The women on these apps are very picky and look down on men with so many guys messaging and lining up. They waste your time desperate for more followers on social media like IG. Or trying to get material things like free drinks, meals and gifts. You are the man qualifying the women, not the other way around. Don’t let the scammers take advantage. Save your time, energy, and money.

You would be better off spending your hard earned money on actual relationship training or personal development. Books, courses, etc. Seriously you'll get more out of it and have better relationship and interpersonal skills. And of course going out and actually meeting people in your area. I made the effort to try meet people both day and night. Paid for a coffee, soda, or venue entry fee. Often not fancy and daily life stuff. I met more people in 1 month than 1 year on Tinder! I quit drinking alcohol but went out to a club. I ordered a soda and met a gorgeous women at the bar. She was also sober and noticed me “Hey you’re not drinking? Neither am I”. We hit it off. Great conversation, smiling laughing and flirting all night. She just broke up with her ex-boyfriend because he was heavy into drugs and wasn’t ready for another boyfriend yet. Still a great first date. It cost me the club entry fee and a soda. I never would have met her on Tinder or any other dating app. A good attractive woman is not using these dating apps. You must get out and meet them in real life.

Revenge Ban for standing up to their misogyny – Examples of sexually abusive messages sent to me in the last 2 weeks 1. “I want to finish in you”. “I want to bend you over a dining table” 3. “let’s meet up and bang”. 4 a-b-c “come to my hotel room, come over, let’s meet at yours” on repeat with someone I’ve never met 5. “Let’s practice” ([Word Removed]) 6. “I’m on top of things, would you like… Read more

to be one of them” “Hey babe what are you up to sexy woman”. When I advise theses men 1. That’s inappropriate, gross, disgusting, revolting, how dare you demand sexual intercourse from me when we have never met, it’s inappropriate to booty call me when we’ve never met, how dare you suggest I meet you at your place or my place at midnight, or for a “first date”, that’s unsafe and inappropriate, how dare you treat me like a free [Word Removed] worker etc Tinder sent me a guidelines warning, and then I challenged them.

Tinder staff in the last 48 H sent a bunch of copy & paste generic messages - they both berate me “for breaking guidelines” but also wanted all the details of all the abuse I had been sent and expected me to have kept record of every one. I sent them a bunch of screenshots that I had started to collect within the last fortnight, including the details of someone who sent me a inappropriate pick. The inappropriate pick profile remains up on Tinder, despite my having reported it, many times.

I got the same repeated generic messages asking for the same information again and again from Tinder bots “staff”, and then messages stating that I need to stick to the guidelines - but not referencing any of my actual responses to that false allegation that I was somehow harassing men by standing up against abuse.

I received the same copy and paste messages pretending to take it seriously from staff, asking me to collect and deliver a whole bunch of unrealistic information to them multiple times; when I send all the screenshots of abuse I faced, plus a couple of saved accounts, names and phone numbers of abusers that I do happen to have - TINDER then turns around and sends generic messages “reminding me of guidelines” and dismissing my concerns and deleting all the information I sent them.

I questioned why women who stand up to severe harassment get warnings - and a few hours ago, I got a BAN and NEVER COME BACK for DECLINING an arrangement that a guy wanted where he wanted someone to “financially dominate” him, I said “nope”, he said “I am interested in a relationship and giving this kink up - go out for dinner?” And I said “yep, let’s do that, you don’t have to give me any cash, if you want to give me something, just pay for the dinner”. Totally banned for that!! They said they were doing a “routine review” of my account - ie harassing me for challenging them

As Tinder don’t tell you why they are banning you, you have to guess. I’ve questioned it and got bot generic responses that don’t explain anything and are irrelevant to my question.

I attempted to extend my Tinder Gold subscription through a third-party provider using Codashop. The voucher was not honoured by Tinder. I agree that the site has too many romance scammers. Staff do not seem to care about customer concerns. Better quality elsewhere. Show details

Follow-up  · Tinder and Codashop did not respond to my concerns. It seems evident that these internet dating websites are primarily commercial ventures, and the care factor is missing. Overall, I had better experiences with POF regarding local contact opportunities.

Having tried the majority of the dating sites in the last 18 months. I have found Tinder to offer me the most catch-ups of any of the other dating apps. does not want genuine users but is happy to have lots of fake profiles to boost their probability of you finding a fake scammer partner. Sites such as this thrive on boosting the number of profiles with fake profiles to make it seem more probably you can match with someone. HOWEVER, they will ban genuine users on the flimsiest guidelines, saying you violated their (what? fake?) terms of service.

I had an extremely poor experience with this app, and I strongly advise against using it. There are far better alternatives available. fake profiles—far more than I could have imagined. It's blatant and frustrating to see so many profiles soliciting money.

Furthermore, the real profiles I came across often featured women with heavily filtered photos, showcasing unrealistic appearances with silly features. This kind of misrepresentation is not just misleading; it's unacceptable.

I demand a refund of the hundreds of pounds I have spent on this app. It is the app's responsibility to monitor and remove scammers. I should not have to deal with this, especially when I'm paying for a service.

Additionally, the app should implement measures to encourage women to respond to messages—even if it’s just to say they’re not interested. There needs to be a push for users to upload honest, unfiltered pictures of themselves. It's ridiculous to see mature women with absurd filters and altered images.

as usual but no one saw me and no one answered me. I did not even immediately guess that it does not work. I was able to delete the hacked account and create a new one only when I agreed with my ex-"friend". All this time, tech support ignored my letters. With such "security" they recently offer to send them an ID! Just imagine how much information about you can be found out on any dating site if you send them your ID! When I finally created a new account, a week later some abuser and racist wrote a complaint about me that I was a scammer and was in another country, although I was 1 km away from him, and he could easily check it, it is visible on the account. My photos were verified! He decided I was a scammer based on the fact that one of my photos taken while traveling abroad had foreign letters I didn't say a single bad word to him, and I didn't ask for anything, he's just a real psychopath. Guess what? My account was immediately banned! If the account is paid, all this time when it doesn't work, you are charged a fee.

I have no idea what story he said about me, but I basically told him to Pee off as any woman would who is an Aussie! That happened in December 2024, now it is February 2025 and I got an email saying they were about to take money out of my bank account, so I tried to log in but I cant because I am banned, next thing straight after I tried to log in to Tinder I got another email saying you will be refunded the money, I mean they are not suppose to take it out of my account until the 15th Feb and today is the 13th Feb. If I see a transaction in my account from them, all hell is going to break loose. How dare they take peoples money after banning them. No give them a miss, be very careful of dating sites that want your account numbers and automatically renew. Try and find ones to pay through Paypal. Easy, you just log into your Paypal account and can stop automatic payments anytime, they wont receive a cent, but you will get an email saying we can not renew your subscription lol. Give yourself the choice if you want to still subscribe don't give them auto renewal choice, becareful.
