Substandard build, unsuitable for permanent living. Terrible insulation throughout, a nightmare during rain and storms. No floor insulation, freezing cold in winter. When I investigated why it gets so cold, I found out that they build my granny flat with a 6-star energy efficiency rating, instead of 7-stars, which it should have been after 1.May 2024. Don't know how the certifier could approve it and why he would.

Appalling customer service once you signed up and made first payment. Director doesn't like to be criticised by a woman. One of those. Very unpleasant.

Quality is below average. One employee stated that THC saved themselves thousands of dollars by replacing materials used in their display homes with cheaper substitutes, and it shows.

The cost has reached $250k already, including footing and connections, but will be thousands more, if I have to put in better insulation. It's a real money pit.

Nice touch to employ the daughter to make it look like it's a nice, friendly family business. It's not!
