inconsistent signals even after extending the antenna and trying various locations. The radio would benefit from fine-tuning functionality, and while the manual mentions an FM step-tuning feature, this option isn’t available on my unit for some reason. 3. WiFi and AirPlay 2 While AirPlay 2 works intermittently, the connection is often invisible, requiring manual reconnections or restarts. This feels far from the seamless experience promised. 4. User Experience The interface is laggy, and the overall experience feels buggy and unreliable. For a premium product, this level of performance is unacceptable.

Don’t be distracted by the sleek design, premium packaging, or added features. The Tivoli Model One Digital Gen 2 doesn’t deliver on its promise and struggles with the basics. If you value functionality and reliability, look elsewhere.

Problem radio – Have owned three of these Tivoli Model One radio's over the year's nice timber cabinet and great audio love the look of these radios and the simple controls. was too blame due to fumigating the radios when imported because of the timber cabinets.Don't know if that is fact but just saying what I was told seems strange three radios in a row with the same problem though.Have used for many years now with no further problems so in the long run have been good,would seem scratchy tuning is a problem with these Model One Radios if you go by reviews by various people.

Waste of time and money – Bought the gen 2 model one. No dab signal despite both cars and an older dab radio that does. FM reception is worse than the original model one( and that was bad). Never mind I thought - it's got wifi. But you have to use your phone and cast to it! Makes it a very expensive fixed speaker. It's going back for a refund. Very disappointed Show details

Piece of over priced rubbish – I was given a Tivoli AM FM radio , my initial impression was that it was a cheap and nasty chinese made radio owing to the dreadful sound quality on the AM stations , the FM sound however is much better , I was very surprised to find out that's its actual an expensive radio , I would never buy one , my older pannasonic is far superior. Show details

Hopeless AM reception – I have bought an external AM antenna for this radio, and even with that the AM reception is hopeless. Show details

Beyond hopeless – Can not get any DAB stations. Constantly becomes unpaired with cube speaker. Contantly gets out of Sync with cube speaker (causing a delay). Much easier to stream music from my iphone to two BT conected UE boom speakers . Better quality and works every time.

Met my expectations – The Tivoli Audio Model One radio comes with excellent packaging and was playing hi-fi music on both AM and FM channels in just a few minutes after receiving it. The high fidelity is outstanding even at the highest volume, and the volume is remarkable from this little retro box. I love it!

Terrible purchase – We have the model one digital, and it was a complete waste of money. Screen freezes constantly, Bluetooth connectivity is non existent (my husband's iPhone 11 pro just simply won't connect), we can only access 3 DAB stations, the volume randomly goes up and down without us touching it. Tivoli Audio Model One – Extremely complicated, we have never been able to pair it with wifi or Bluetooth. Radio worked for a year however even that has packed it in. Was really excited to buy this and it has been a miserable fail.

Nice FM used as source through preamp – After a week or so of operation I van report a nice fm source if used as a line source into a quality preamp and power amp. managed fully quietened reception setting the whip HORIZONTALLY and adding 1-2 metres thin wire as an extension to the whip (switch to EXT antenna). The radio was not a good AM performer (internal antenna) and I did not want to rotate the radio to experiment with orienation of the internal (ferrite?) antenna. Who listens to AM ? The tuning needs a little care - being analogue but does not appear to drift. The simpler circuitry (no digital tuning) may benefit the audio (as a line out) with the more modest design of this unit. The local hifi dealer Coffs Harbour Audio let me take the unit home for an obligation free test drive. I am keeping it. Yes, I do have some serious audiophile gear BUT this radio is worth the money outlaid.

Don't buy one! – Radio is now just static and all i get now is a VERY loud static buzz. Rang the 1300 lin but they just said bad luck. For the money spent it is a really poor product. Wish i read these reports before i bought - looks good sounds lousy!

Sounds good but not for long – I was impressed with the sound quality initially but soon started having reception problems. Eventually all i got was crackle. The company was less than sympathetic and wanted a ridiculous amount to even look at it. All the hype about this radio is crap. Expensive rubbish.

Dreadful radio that doesn't do anything well – What a disappointment. Almost impossible to tune into FM stations, it crackles violently with the slightest touch. And the much-vaunted room-filling sound? Well, it's not a tinny sound but nothing like the Bose radio (which, admittedly is more than double the price). very disappointed – Very expensive radio considering I can't tune in stations and if I succeed it is very scratchy. When using bluetooth, the speaker is very average. No support from the company.

Good audio but FM tuning abysmal after a couple of years – Expensive to buy and sounded great to start with. After about two years the tuning became touchy and eventually crackled whenever I tried to tune in a station. Now it sits on the shelf along with my collection of old transistor radios, none of which, incidentally, have a problem like the Tivoli Audio One. A very expensive display radio - not much else I can use it for.

Poor Quality Reception – Sounds good when its works, but you have to keep tuning it all the time. Very poor considering the price. Don't waste your money.

Best bedside radio I've ever owned – From the superb timbers to the delightful tonal quality, our two Model Ones are delightful radios. With manual tuning, the delight of finding feint or non local stations is an ever present delight. The AUX in function means we can (and do) listen to digital radio and podcasts from our mobile phones without the waste of a proprietary connector. Sound, appearance, build quality

Our Tivoli Model 1 – We bought our Model 1 hoping that it would live up to al the reviews we had read. Unfortunately it is very fiddly to tune and our favourite station ABC Classic FM is almost impossible to tune and seems to be swamped by dozens of stations close to 105.9. However, when the station is successfully selected, the sound is wonderful ABC Classic FM seems to be tunable in many locations close to 105.9 and whether the internal or the external antenna is selected. Wonderful sound Hopeless selectivity when tuning.

Problems with reception – We have just got and unpacked the Tivoli Model One. There is a poor AM/FM reception in our area, but our older radio coped reasonably well inside the house using their in-built antennas. performer was, and still is, Sony Walkman radio. It looks like we need to spend some money on the external antenna. Look and probably the sound, if we can get it Reception using internal antenna

Best balanced audio i have ever heard – Have had one of these for some year's now and cannot fault this radio it has the best all round balanced audio i have heard,may not be the loudest but overall quality sound. Some may think more adjustment's may have been a good idea but i don't believe you need any just simple perfection. Pure clean sound with great reception and finish Not cheap to purchase
