Purchased in October 2021 3.5 Years ago. Stopped working. Turns on but will not open the Android. Tried unplug and different PP. It is stuck on the TOSHIBA Opening Screen. Contacted Toshiba via email. took 5 days to reply. "Call us when you are in front of TV" Called them. "Sorry its out of Warranty, Never seen that problem before. Here is a… Read more

repairers contact Details". So you pay $1200 for a TV and it only lasts 3.5 Years and the Manufacturer and The retailer (Good Guys) don't give a Hoot. Further to Chasing Toshiba they have done the Right Thing and are sending a Tech to Fix the Problem under Warranty. Pays to speak to people that do care. The first contact was not Good but alls well that ends well.

Faulty product – Purchased this TV from retailer. Tried to set Tv up , got stuck in a set-up loop. Phoned Toshiba, told that it has missing firmware. we were told it takes a few weeks to send firmware out. In the interim TV not working. Told by retailer we need RA code to exchange on spot. Toshiba unwilling to issue RA code. No compensation offered or discount.… Read more

Unhelpful, rude staff at Toshiba. Faulty product. Unhappy and disappointed with the lack of customer service on a faulty product sold.

Not so good TV – not good, tv freezes then has to be switched off at the wall to reset itself. Not really suitable for fast movements it becomes a blur. After sales service from Hisense was quite unhelpful our first TV was eventually replaced after nearly 12 mths of arguing. The replacement is slightly better still has issues. The use of apps is fairly straight… Read more

forward. Only purchased another Toshiba TV after having such a good run only to find out that the newer TV's contain Hisense components. Sadly next purchase will be putting abit more money towards a better purchase.

Initially thought it was good – We had this tv for around 2 months. At first it was ok. We came from 3 week holiday and switched it on to find left hand side of the screen was blacked out and had multi coloured lines through it. Took it back to the good guys and they have all been trained to say straight away " its impact damage" How on earth can a tv get impact damage… Read more

when it's mounted 7 ft high on the wall? What a waste of time and money buying this useless piece of junk. Be aware that they "Hisense" offer 3 year warranty.... But it is completely useless as they don't stand by it. Pictures were sent by retailer to Hisense in Melbourne and the verdict was.... " It's impact damage". What a shi..y company. NEVER AGAIN!

TV OK but faulty software – Bought this TV in June for my elderly mother. While the TV has a good screen, does what it needs to and looks good, ever since we got it there has been a problem with the TV turning itself on between 6 - 6.30 in the morning at irregular intervals. It could be several times a week or it could go for 3-4 weeks without doing this. It is causing a lot… Read more

of worry to my mother who is concerned about being woken up early morning or having the TV come on if she is not home. Multiple phone calls to customer service resulted in several suggestions to fix the problem. None of which worked. Each time we implement the potential fix it then takes 2 hours to reload and activate all the streaming apps on the TV as they get wiped with each intervention. Eventually in September I was advised by customer service that the problem was now an identified fault with the TV and a fix for the the firmware was coming soon. After not hearing back from customer service over a month later I again contacted them and they sent me out a USB with the firmware "fix". It didn't work. Again today I contact customer service and they now advise the problem is not with the firmware but a software problem with no available fix at the moment. Surely this would have been identified much earlier than this and Toshiba should have been in regular contact with people affected by this problem. No timeline for the fix is able to be given and when asked about either a refund or a replacement TV I was advised I would have to take this up with the Customer resolution team. I will give Toshiba 1 more month to come up with the software fix and if I don't hear from them then will take it further. No wonder the TV has been discontinued.

If I could give - stars I would – Bought tv in jan 2022. In august 2022 it started getting lines on the screen and then there was no picture, just coloured lines. This gets worse every time I turn it on. Toshiba/ Hisense In home warranty is rubbish. This is all done by phone and email, takes weeks of back and forth, and then Toshiba/Hisense have a clause 11a which basically… Read more

allows them to make up whatever reason they like to NOT honour the warranty. If a want a technician to come and inspect for the in home warranty, I need to pay a service fee!! This tv is nothing but expensive rubbish do not by Toshiba / Hisense expensive trash.

Wished we had never bought it – I sent my husband to buy a TV from Harvey Norman, he had the info etc after I had done a lot of research. The salesperson talked him into this Toshiba TV. Firstly it always goes straight to Nerflix when you turn it on, the remote does not connect very well, I purchased another one as I thought it was the remote, but same issues. And it keeps… Read more

Very poor quality – I purchased a Toshiba 65C350KP TV from the Good Guys on the 9/5/22. Initially I tried to connect a soundbar to it which it would not accept but eventually after about a month I was able to get it working. However over the last 3 months the TV picture has been unwatchable on 5 occasions. I have spoken to HISENSE and their solution is to unplug the… Read more

TV from the power outlet and wait a moment and then plug it back in, which seems to fix it. When I asked was I supposed to do this for the entire life of the TV the answer was it isn't a problem with the TV but actually due to power surges where I live. The TV is absolute crap. Don't but a Toshiba product.

Colour is acceptable only if sitting directly in front of this set – When viewing from directly in front of it, the picture is fine. But if the viewer moves even half a meter away from directly in front, at about a 3-4m viewing distance, there is significant degradation in colour, with peoples' faces looking green. I regret this purchase. Show details

Good value for money – It's great. I can't fault it. It is 4k UHD with HDR; upscaling; Chromecast built-in and Alexa voice commands. It is supported by Hisense and is a HiSmartTV A4 with Toshiba designed components. It's Android which is flexible and easy to use. Like a smart phone. It has everything I need in a TV and is exactly the right size for my room. … Read more

Colors are vivid and I've connected the audio to my surround sound system. I've also connected my blu-ray player. I'm thinking about getting a recorder but don't see the need right now.

For connecting external equipment there are 3 HDMI, 1 Optical, 2 USB ports and old fashioned red, white and yellow RCA as follows:

2 standard HDMI input ports; 1 HDMI (ARC) input port with Audio Return Channel supporting audio output to a sound-bar or AV system; 1 optical audio output port; and 2 USB ports for recording as well as playing media files. RCA for VCR recorders.

I use the Optical port for my AV system. Optical output can be (stereo and 5.1 surround); HDMI (ARC) output can be (stereo, 5.1 surround and compressed Dolby Atmos).

The remote control is bluetooth and is compact by smart TV standards. It took a little practice to work with its modes (TV, devices, streaming, picture and sound settings). Voice control on the remote puts convenience into your hands. You can say "Coldplay" and Alexa will retrieve their Youtube videos with related content.

A range of apps are available that you can't get on a Smart TV. I've subscribed to Paramount+ and Youtube music (YM). Paramount is regularly adding new titles.

Because the TV is 43 inch It qualifies for in-home support. It is 38 inches wide which fits nicely on most cabinets.

This is a very good set. Better than I expected – I was upgrading from a 2010 40" Regza model. The remote is very similar in look, but the layout is different. The keys are at the top, followed by the special coloured buttons, then the OK button control, and the channel/volume below it. The app buttons are at the bottom. Being a 4K UHD model, the sound is very good, and the picture is way better… Read more

than its predecessor, which in itself was excellent. Set up was very easy. I can't really fault it, but I do find the remote buttons are smaller and need more concentration when using. I'll update when needed as I get used. Other than that, I'm very happy with the product.
