worst laptop ever – Sincerely Windows 95 was better by MILES. Terrible slow, etc. Someone at Toshiba got a load of money, and we got a load of nothing in return. Never again that's for certain. It cant play back 480 p video so why it has an hdmi socket is a wonder, the sound crackles, it takes FOREVER to load google images / ebay / etc if it wasn't the only laptop ive got id love to take it outside and smash it to particles.  Show details

Plain horrible – This laptop is not worth the money at all, not unless you want a laptop that would freeze the first time you got it I don't recommend this. My own iPad mini can run faster than this crap. This laptop will constantly freeze, lag and be painfully slow. I tried to run simple tasks on this laptop but could not get through 10 minutes without it… Read more

freezing. Now when opening other programs you will have to wait a while just to get them working. Google chrome took one minute to open the it froze and I waited a further minute. So, for those of you who thinks his is actually good, you're delusional.

Lemon of a computer and lack of support from Toshiba – Purchased Toshiba Satellite Laptop for work/home/children's homework. The Wifi did not work so returned it to store for service which took approx. 2 weeks. A couple of moths later, the laptop would not save my work, and was constantly requiring recharging. Returned a second time for repair - another 2-3 weeks without it. By mid year the … Read more

computer had "the screen of death", so back in for repair for 3 weeks. Upon collection, I asked the retail staff if I could check it while still on site, luckily I did as the laptop had no power supply. The store would not refund and sent it back to "Toshiba" (a third party contracted repairer) and said I should take it up with Toshiba, which I did. Received a phone call, followed by a letter, advising that Toshiba could not dictate to the retail store how they refunded me (in the form of a credit note or refund on my credit card). Nor were they interested in compensating me for loss of work, time, travel etc.

Very poor product performance and very poor customer service. The laptop was clearly not fit for the purposes for which it was purchased, priced mid-high end. Both Toshiba and Harvey Norman have lost my future business.

worst computer ever!!! – I recently bought one (Toshiba C50 C), and it did not work well since the very beginning, Super slow, the mouse pad never worked, worst sound ever, unable to reproduce videos, constantly flash when you try to use it. And the provider did not want to solve my problem. What a crap!!

TOSHIBA RUBBISH – I bought 2 of these laptops recently, 1 lasted less than a week! Had it replaced and now after 3 weeks the replacement has now stopped working! Will be taking it back along with the other one which hasnt had a problem so far but I do not trust it! Stay away!!

Cheap but very poor battery life – Decided to go for a cheap notebook after my expensive HP went dead right after the warranty expired. This is an affordable notebook, good screen size, light weight and great for moderate usage (Word, Excel & internet). It's definitely not for heavy users, like gaming, as it's a bit slow. The main downside for me is the very poor battery life.… Read more

Seems to die after an hour. Being a Toshiba, I did expect more from them. Affordable. Battery life is terrible.

Dreadful – I've had it now for 3 days and still can't use it Out of the box: The keyboard and trackpad didn't work. An external keyboard didn't work. Although supposedly bundled with Windows 7, it came shipped with a "test" version of windows 8 Keys have already come off the keyboard. It has taken me over 4 hours so far just to attempt to restore… Read more

Awsome notebook on a budget – If all you need is to go on the net and print out photos and just normal things like that this is all you need. Yes a bit slow for some high end programs And not good for high graphic games but like I said just perfect for going on the internet and a bit more. You get what you pay for
