OK – Overall, I am quite pleased with Toshiba. Good products, great supports and very reliable. However, I have switch to Mac in recent years and found that Macs are more reliable, more fun to use and definitely ahead Toshiba. So why buy a Toshiba laptop when nowadays Mac is more affordable and you will save a lot of money on Anti-virus protections. Good product. Very light and portable. Easy to use. I am using it as a spare computer when I travel. Everything works well. Not a very good specification. Need to purchase extra external hard drive if you need big storage.

Excellent – The laptop operates well and I've not experienced any major faults except with Windows Vista (which I will not get into here). I have had this laptop for almost a year now and has served my partner and I well. It packs a massize 320GB hard drive space and operates quietly - the fan and optical drive is not too loud. I'd recommend this unit to anyone who enjoys portability, reliability and quality. Light and portable. The screen produces clear and vibrant colours of images. There are enough USB ports (3 in total) and an HDMI output (handy to connect to LCD TV to watch movies and to do presentations). There is also tough sensitive buttons to access media player functions like play, stop and pause which is really handy if you have a lot of digital copy movies that you watch. There is also a card reader that reads almost every card conceivable - this is so handy for data and photo transfers! THe biometric fingerprint receiver is very handy when logging in! You don't have to type in your password! All you do is swipe you finger when prompted! I've got the M00 version of the U400 and the glossy fascia is annoying as you can see fingerprints on the key pad and next to the touch pad. It is really annoying to clean if you want it too look as nice as it did in the store - maintenance I guess.
