We purchased this product for our one-year-old pup, as our previous dog had adverse reactions to liquid wormers. We administered it on a Sunday afternoon, and by that evening, she began to show signs of distress. By the next day, she was vomiting and refusing to eat. Despite extensive veterinary care costing over $3,000—including ultrasounds and… Read more

X-rays—the results were inconclusive. The vets suggested she may have ingested a foreign object, but no such object was ever identified. They were quick to dismiss the possibility that the worming product was the cause.

Tragically, two weeks later, our beautiful little girl passed away.

We attempted to raise our concerns with the manufacturer, but like many pharmaceutical companies, they denied any responsibility. The veterinary team also stood by their belief that the wormer could not have been the issue, even though no alternative explanation could be found. In the end, it appeared her intestines were damaged beyond repair.

We will never use this or any mainstream product again.

He was so young and didn’t deserve this! I hope no one ever uses this product ever! Not worth it to loose a beloved pet!!! Or heart ache! Shame will never buy this product again.

affordable product – I have been using this on my dog for a while now, and haven't had any side effects It's good that it's only once every 3 months, unlike a lot of other brands that require a once a month treatment It's very affordable for people on a tight budget Show details ·  1

Crappy packaging is way too busy, easy to choose the wrong product! – Don't have a problem with the product itself, just the terrible packaging that is so busy it's difficult to tell which of their products you are actually buying! Instructions are next to useless as they are not written in clear plain language! I challenge the incompetent designer of their packing to get a grandparent to understand the different… Read more

products as they all look almost identical! Also ask your grandma to work out the dosage from the incredibly poor instructions. Internal packaging is also difficult to open for an able bodied young adult let alone my Gran!

Buyer be ware my elderly are still recovering from the side effects using this brand, which has never worked – I only wish I had checked here first, after spending my money on this rubbish. I have two small dogs. I bought the heart worm, flea, tick treatment and everything else’s in between. I bought from the supermarkets and nothing has work, to many times I care to remember. My fault, trying to save money in the first instance by not being ripped off by… Read more

the other brands which charge a crap load more, you would assume it was for the same thing, but actually works. In the end, it would have being cheaper to go for the expensive brand. A very expensive lesson learnt for me. Do not buy anything regarding this brand, until they stop scamming people with rubbish that doesn’t work is my suggestion. Lord only knows everything else there flogging can only be just as bad. Before publishing this they give you an option to mediate. What a joke, don't bother. No matter how much evidence you provide that you've covered everything several times over, yes even the environment. They some how continue to repeat themselves like a broken record, but cannot explain exactly what it is that we are pumping into our fur families, by using their products. Offering a voucher, instead of the full refund I made clear I wanted, doesn't cut it when they have no right to dick tate what compensation is appropriate. I told them what they can do with the voucher, and the lame response to my concerns. I for one will not leave it here, they will be held accountable via the class action I'm looking into, this is far from over. Reputation is key, I've got nothing to lose but to expose this brand / rubbish for it is. Not even worthy of the 1 star. I'm having to wait at least another month before I can administer anything from any other brand for either heart worm or fleas until I know the rubbish from this brand is no longer there system.

Very sick dog – Dog is Cavoodle 11kg. Recommended dose is 1 tablet per 100g. Gave my dog 1 tablet in morning with breakfast. Within 4 hours she had runny poo. 12am next morning needed to go outside urgently with liquid poo. And then vomoted. Later in the early hours she vomited again. Next day she tried to drink water 3 times and each time vomited it back up… Read more

after about 30 minutes. After 36 hours since taking the tablet she started to be able to hold down food. Continued to have runny poo 48 hours after the tablet. Bought two packets at reduced special price from Coles. Cant help wondering if they knew they were bad so reduced the price. Update. Worm tablet was administered on thursday morning. On Sunday dog's poo changed from being brownish colour to black in colour. I contacted a vet who advised this is due to bleeding in small intestine. Vet gave dog injection to stop any further vomiting. Also prescribed a paste to add to food to firm up poo. And an invoice for $227. Update 2. Purina asked me to delay publishing my experience until they investigated the issue. They requested a complete history of reports. They sighted one case where I consulted the vet back in 2017 when she had an upset stomach due to spicy food. The then dismissed this situation saying my dog has a history of gastro intestinal disturbances. In my opinion they are "grasping at straws" to defend their dodgy all worming tablet. Don't risk your dog with these tablets.

What is the correct doseage? – I bought the 4 pack of Tasty Allwormer for Dogs a week ago. Not sure which of the Selected Listings it is as nothing on the packet to distinguish but assume the New Formulation as a recent purchase. I found the instructions a bit confusing. It says to make sure you weigh your dog for the correct doseage. I have 2 dogs at about 5 kg each. The… Read more

packet then says 1 tablet/10kg bodyweight. I took this to mean that 10kg is max for 1 tab and therefore gave our dogs a half tablet each being half the weight. Seems this may not be correct and they should have got a full tablet. Is the dose I gave them effective or have I wasted my money? Can I safely give them another half tablet now or do they need a full one?

I think the packet should be a bit clearer and maybe say "Give 1 tablet up to 10kg bodyweight".

Got a very prompt reply from Purina Team and all good. Half tab for 5kg.

Wait now to see if product does the job so can't give a final product Rating yet. No adverse reactions by either dog.

good product – I own a 2 and half-year-old female German Shepherd who weighs 38.4kg, so I gave her 4 tablets, 1 tablet per 10kg of body weight. It has been 24 hours now and she is like she… Read more ·  1

always is. Like any medication for your pet, if you are unsure what the correct dosage is for your animal, you should always consult your pet's vet for accurate advice. I bought this medication on sale at Coles supermarket for $12.30

Do not give your dog this product!! Please!!! – Gave my dog the correct dosage, a couple hours later she began to vomit so much and is now really lethargic and clearly feeling very ill. Very concerning as she is only 1 and normally absolutely bouncing off the walls with energy, right now she can barely get off the couch. Please do not feed this to your dogs! I wish I’d read the reviews before purchasing. This product needs to be removed from the shelf! Show details

Upset my dog's stomach – I bought this product 2 times, thinking that the bad effect it had on my dog was just a 1 off and that my dog may have been slightly under weather before commencing this treatment, but second time around I got the same result, it gave my dog diarrhea, on both occasions I gave it to him, it is one of the cheaper brands around for what you get,… Read more
