Great camp trailer and they seem to have improved dramatically over the last couple of years – I purchased a Trak Shak back in 2012 and I initially had concerns regarding the quality as I had heard that it had dropped. After talking to many other Trak Shak owners, both online and in campsites, there was a period of a couple of years around 2005 (when the company sold to a Sydney based company) that the quality went downhill. From then on they seem to have got better and better and the after market support seems to have improved. I've been back a couple of times for small problems, some of which I have caused myself with misuse and poor driving :-(, and also been back for advice (mostly out of the 12 month warranty). They have always been helpful and always have time for me.

The camper has now done many miles on-road and off-road and is holding up great.

Tough as Nails! – We brought ours new in 2003 and has lived up to our expectations. It has been down the Gibb many times across the Qld Gulf and through out southern WA. Sadly we must sell it as we can't store it under cover any more. The Aussie version seems to do the job as designed. Strenght, ease of use.

Biggest mistake ever! – We bought a Trak Shak a couple of years ago and were very happy with it, until after a couple of months all of the paint started to bubble or corrode. Our trailer was always in a lock up garage and was hardly used. Contacted Trak Shak and advised in writing we would receive a replacement trailer. The trailer was still in the warranty period. Needless to say we are still waiting. They have now lied to us saying the owner is no longer there (now confirmed by his staff he is). We will be taking this further as we have all of ours and his correspondence in writing.

Having the same problem as you, trailer back to Sydney once and major rust reoccurring. Was promised a respray never happened, back to the dealer again will see what is next, not happy and will be taking further actions also. Waist of my money and time.... will be buying Australian made produce instead of poor quality Chinese

Good – Great to see the product quality back on Track. Since the move to Sydney Trak Shak seems to have got it together again, they use aussie made WCT canvas and finish off the product very well. The fantastic design of the tent, best use of available space I have ever seen Due to the solid suitcase the beds are limited to 80mm foam although Trak Shak has informed me one side only can be upgraded to a 100mm innerspring mattress
