Tupperware bridge smart says to keep both vents open for Spinach and Brocoli . Vents opens means the moisture gets out. I'm confused because all the info i find on the internet says to close the vents for the fridge drawer to keep the moisture in??

Do you wash fruits and veg BEFORE you put them in the fridge smart containers?

Hi Isobel! Very good question! I have asked that myself before and here's what I learned. It is best NOT to wash the fruit or veg before storing as this adds extra moisture to the environment inside the box, making them go moldy or sweaty much quicker. the boxes are designed to created an environment between fruits and veggies that 'breathe' together, so adding extra moisture renders that 'breathing' ineffective. Just wash the food before preparing and using for best results! Enjoy:)
