Are the bottles dishwasher safe?

No. Do not put them in the dishwasher. They will shrink.

Hi there, how long does the CO2 cylinder lasts. Ours is empty after not even 2 weeks with carbonating 2 bottles/ day. Not very happy with this.

Mine goes through loads of gas - 2 bottles a day and canister doesn’t last 2 weeks. My soda stream was a 30lt canister and lasted at least 3 times as long very very disappointed especially with this price tag.

It’s hopeless - I go through a 60 litre a fortnight - soda stream lasted at lease 3 x longer for a 30 litre - I would recommend to anyone

Are refills easily obtained? Where?

I presume you mean the gas refills? Yes they are available everywhere. My husband got ours from coles - he took the empty and the new one was $20

Can I just check before I buy. Are the gas bottles the same you use in soda stream?

What is the minimum volume of liquid that can be carbonated? So does the nozzle have to be in the liquid? Should I carbonate just 100ml of wine? Thanks

Hi Kate - I think the bottle is about 1000 mils high (a guess) and the high water mark to fill up to is 800mils including your flavourings. So that could be dried sliced mandarin like I put in mine or flavouring like cordial which we also use in ours. Once you carbonate the 800 mils it fizzes up to the top of the bottle and then you just turn the lid and wait for the bubbles to subside then you open it and it's nice and fizzy - just depending upon how long you held the carbonator down for.

No the nozzle doesn't have to be in the liquid. The nozzle is in the liquid from about 600mils so the gas gets pumped in to the bottom of the liquid. Or you can dry pump the gas as well. But generally I have mine full.

Yes you could try to carbonate just 100ml of wine - absolutely. Or flat orange juice can be carbonated as well.

Generally I use it for carbonated water from the tap and a small bit of cordial flavouring. I also recarbonated some flat bubbly and some flat tonic for my g&t.

This machine is awesome I love it - I take it with me when we go away too.

But I do recommend that you buy the extras - especially at least an extra bottle so that you can make 2 bottles at a time and keep them in the fridge.
