Dont do it. We have had this for a couple years now. It works for a week.... barely.... then it stops recording and you need to format the SD card - which erases everything it has recorded. issue for all Uniden products. Next, the camera starts recording 5-6 seconds after something large moves across the viewing area within 5 metres but not if theyre walking straight toward it, so yes, it misses everything. The only thing it is good for is live view, but even then you have to click a button every 20 mins to keep it streaming, and then the battery will only last half a day. Night vision is ok, not amazing. You can get face detail if they are looking straight at it from 1m distance. My brother has a swann hard wired 4k setup, it was more expensive but is sooooooo much better.

days), even when I changed the sensitivity setting. Also very inconvenient when you have to take down the cameras every few days to charge! One of them the holder is already falling apart by not keeping the camera in the right position. For today’s need to have a reliable security system, this system is definitely not good to have!
Useless and rubbish - save your money – Useless, does not record on first detection or seconds there afterwards. I have people walk right past the front of our house and it only picks them up as they leave the view of the camera. Not at all weather resistant – Set up on side of a building as per instructions. Then stopped working. It's meant to be water resistant but the first rain fall filled it with water and killed it.

chew up all the battery. I have notifications on in the app and in settings so no don’t tell me to check I have motivations on, I don’t even know if it’s still in warranty, I’ll have to check cause this is clearly defective or a very bad product.

Weak, nasty, waste of money – Battery drains quickly, basically no proper user manual, water ingress from rain and fails to remotely connect 99% of the time. Usual built in china $2 garbage paid over $200 for 2 pathetic landfill objects. Show details

Never touch Uniden CC TV Cameras and their Uniden Cloud subscription – Would give minus zero if I could. Uniden Cloud demands a cloud subscription, which is impossible to renew online. When renewed online, they claim hasn't been renewed and say they will cancel account and all cloud storage in 7 days. Good luck getting in contact with them.

So I tried the audio(phone contact ) which was only working 1 way Enough is enough, I took it back for a refund Sorry it's not refundable because it's been connected to your wi fi and has a device Identification code of some sort which can not be re-used or re -sold to another customer. It was only when I questioned the salesman about the phone not working 100% that he agreed to a refund So BEWARE if you buy any of these so called smart devices you may NOT be entitled to a refund,It all worked out OK in the end but This SHOULD be pointed out to you by the sales man when you purchase this type of product

Faulty Batteries and Short Battery Life – Bought 2 of these units in late January 2022, one for the front and one for the back of the house. me an address for me to send it back to at my expense. The second unit just goes flat quickly, both work fine when on mains. Really not fit for purpose if you have to keep taking them down, on a 2 storey house, to charge or not able to charge the batteries at all. Will be taking both back for a refund.

Good affordable wireless camera without expensive cloud subscriptions – The camera is easy to set up, the phone and PC apps are also easy, the PC slightly more difficult but only took me 5 minutes. I bought this camera is that I don't need to pay an expensive cloud storage subscription like most other competitors and includes a free 7 day cloud storage as well. it comes with two types of mounting, the magnetic one is very useful as the camera can be easily detached, however, and it's only logical, you need to have a mount screwed to the wall. and the best thing is that Uniden has an offer for a free solar panel, which I am hoping to get soo, that would mean that I don't need to remember to recharge the camera battery.

you buy a class 10 micro SD card preferably 64GB as the cloud option cost a fortune. Uniden has both MacOS or android apps that have amazing features. Also I managed to hook the cameras up with the PC version of the apps. Now this is the program to use. It has an elaborate device settings menu. however it does announce very quickly that the cameras have timed out and you might have to frequently log back into the program which is one simple click. The battery setup is rubbish as while the camera only ran for 4 hours with me recording, zooming in and out the picture which was excellent resolution and the battery said it had used 12% in 4 hours. One only catch is that if you have a low end modem with low wifi signal you will have problems with the cameras dropping out as they need a good signal. What I thought was good about this product and why I wrote this review was the single camera setup at a time gives you a multiple of uses for the camera in sheds. properties and even the back of a work ute so long as there is wifi close. The setup for forwarding of email alerts is rubbish for a setup and uses difficult settings for someone that is not computer literate. Also built into the app is a option with a QR code scan to allow anyone to have access to the cameras.
