Unless this company have changed management/staff in the last 12 years or so, I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. If there is an issue with work they say has been completed, they don't want to know you. Unreturned phone calls, treated with absolute disgraceful attitude. They will take your money quickly enough, then it's bye-bye. Stay away, find a reputable business! If I could rate them minus 1, I would.

Was book 5 weeks out from date of installation. Was told several times certain dates not available. Utter kaos was what they have caused me. They decided to ignore days unavailable. Delivered gutters then rang saying doing next day. The day or not getting done was the impression they gave. that access wasn't available due to other contractors.… Read more

Other contractors walked off job refusing to work around utter gutters. Utter gutters didn't care that I now have to reorganise replacement electrician because of utter gutters disorganisation. You won't regret bot using them.

Super happy – If you're in Adelaide don't bother with any other business for gutter repairs and replacement. Over the last few years I've consistently found that Utter Gutters is the only one who'll answer your inquiry. I've found them to be highly professional and will give you honest advice. After I accepted their quote Utter Gutters progressed the job quickly and have delivered a great result. Very happy.

Quick and efficient- installation – We used Utter Gutters to replace our rusted and damaged drain pipes and install new down pipes. They were quick and efficient and we are very happy with the job. Annie and Steve Alberton

Worst Workmanship, Zero Customer Service – After just one winter since having absurdly expensive (I now realise) gutter guard installed water began cascading down my wall. directed into the gutters to form blockages that water was richoce82806ting off....and this after only one season since installation! He quoted, but strongly recommend contacting Utter Gutters about the issue, assuming they would take responsibility. Utter gutters then treated me with disdain, discourtesy and rudeness; phone calls repeatedly never returned when promised, workmen failing to arrive on the promised time or even day. (One came before the specifically agreed time, to avoid me as they knew full well I would not be here.) and outright lies. Each person I spoke to had a completely different and inconsistent story. Anxiety about my flooding water decreed that the independent plumber remedy the situation which he did promptly and efficiently.

Utter disappointing!! – AVOID at all cost!! Utter Gutters “supposedly” fixed roof 2017. Had AirCon out to service unit on roof. He was shocked with quantity/work undertaken. Stated that a roof should last a good 20-30yrs. I arranged for another roof company to have a look…”Appalling work” verbatim!! Due to change of ABN, the current Utter Gutters is denying liability. Can’t afford legal costs, so I’m out of pocket @ $7,000.

Not Recommended – Paid $1,540.00 for a Pergola water leak in Dec 2020 and reported unsatisfactory work on 9/2/2021 after experiencing 1st rain. No results after 25 phone and text conversations. Needed to contact Consumer & Business Services for assistance and have the work fixed on 21/5/2021. Just not good enough, terrible customer service.

started wondering when we will get council approval. Our council is very quick and approves projects in 2-3 weeks once the application fee is paid. I went to check why the approval was delayed. I learned that Utter Gutters didnt yet pay the council application fee. Once we learned they delayed paying the fee by more than month, council sent them a reminder and they paid it finally on September 9. Then ,again I waited 3 weeks, expecting the approval to be ready. I went to check with council again, this time I learned they didnt include the builders insurance within the documents submitted to the council. They didnt even tell us about that there is a builders insurance and gave use documents about that. They also declared to the council the project value less than half the price we are paying to them, I dont know for what reason. Again, we are waiting for them to provide the insurance to council. Once approval comes out, they may delay the job again claiming that materials are not produced yet in the factory. Christmas is coming and they may postpone the job to next year, we have no idea. Once we signed the contract, they got us tied, so they dont worry about completing the job in a timely manner. There is no clause in the contract which gives a completion time, and we cant unilaterally cancel the contract without paying 20% of the value. So our hands are tied. I dont even know whether we are overpaying, since they declared a lower price to council. I may update my review once the job is finished, but for now, we are very dissatisfied customers.
