Valco Twin Runabout Jogger

Bad – Overall, it is an OK pram, but it is not manouvourable and not practical for everyday use at the shops etc. If you are after something you can jog with, it's fine. Be prepared though to have a second pram on hand for in the car. It is really easy to push and has pump up tyres- it is good for rough roads (I love out of town on a tarred but rough surface road and have also used on dirt roads with no problem and minimal discomfort to the babies).
The positioning of the toddler seat (I use with twins and a toddler) is good and my son loves sitting out the front. It can even double as a high chair as it is a good height. The use of zippers to raise and lower the position of the baby is INCREDIBLY impractical. It is nearly impossible to raise or lower baby position without almost getting underneith the pram. I would have to say that this, along with the tiny basket size is the biggest drawback of the pram. You cannot use it to go shopping. It is quite large, but what do you expect for a twin pram? It only just fits through doors and there are many shops that are completely inaccessible. I have purchased a tandem pram which is much better for this.
In terms of handling, I agree with other reviews that the front wheels are too close together and have a tendency to lock each other up. With a toddler on the front too, the pram is really hard to steer. You have little control over where the pram is going so it's fine for walking on a straight road, but not for manouvering through shops. Another really annoying thing about this pram is that the front wheel locking mechanism slips down causing the front wheels to lock unexpectedly.
Bad – I purchased this pram as I have baby twins and another child under the age of 2. I needed a pram that could carry 3 children, and this was my only option, as I can add a toddler seat. That is where the positivity ends. Although it is a great pram to push, it is back breaking ot get out of the car, I needed to ask for help from a complete stranger once and I just could not get it out. I would not recommend this pram unless you need to carry 3 children. can add a toddler seat to carry a third child Way too heavy, too big for standard car boot - this pram takes up all of the space, so no room for shopping. Can only put very small things in the under-basket, as there is a metal rod in the middle of it, blocking the way. The worse haness system I hae ever seen on any pram. The buckle is so hard to do up, especially if the baby is wriggling, as you have to join both buckles together, then clip it in. If you want to use a pram liner, it is very difficult to get in, due to the way the harness system works, therefore, very hard to remove for washing. Babys head hits this top pannel, which is annoying, as I am constantly pulling them down.
Bad – i put up with the pram coz i there was not much other options for a twin jogger back then but i would not recommend it especially because the tires at the front get stuck together which is very dangerous. However the new version of this pram has smaller tires at the front so they fixed the problem with there i would check that one out as they may have fixed other faults this one had as well.
Overall would NOT recommend this model! easy to push
good quality lasts long. the wheels at the front are too big and close together, out of no where they would lock into each other and id have to try moving the pram around or pull them with my hands to get them apart. i took it down an escelator once and the wheels locked together at the bottom, lucky no one was behind me but i kept tripping over luckily someone saw me and ran to the pram and lifted it up from the front in order for it to move!
the basket as stated already is sooo small because of that annoying bar in the middle of it so not much space for anything.
very wide it JUST fits through a door and does not fit through a shopping isle so i have to go through the font and take the pram out then get served.
