Venom BlackBook Zero 17 Phantom

I wanted a desktop replacement with a large screen (but not a gaming laptop). I wanted a quality build that would not die on me after a couple of years (with the long and tedious task of setting up a new laptop). I wanted a workhorse for my research. I wanted speedy startup, shut down, and file transfer. I wanted a variety of connection options. I wanted a backlit keyboard with comfortable keys. I wanted plenty of storage and solid state drives. I wanted a full size keyboard and a numeric keypad. After reading a review in Choice, I knew I'd found what I wanted with the added bonus of Venom's commitment to longevity and sustainabilty, with the options to upgrade or replace so many features should I need to. The extra power cord is very useful and it is comforting to have the backup USB (that I doubt I'll ever need to use). I got everything I wanted and have been extremely happy with this solid, quality, beautiful laptop for over a year now. And when Windows 11's 24H2 update caused problems, help was quickly forthcoming and successful. I'll be a lifelong user of Venom laptops. Thank you for a fabulous product.

Excellent product supported by excellent service – I discovered Venom in my search of Choice magazine recommendations. I spoke to a company rep who advised me which model best suited my needs. I received the laptop within days of ordering it. This was followed up with an after sales call to ensure I was happy with the product and provide advice on a couple of queries I had. Venom's website is very informative and I like the company's ethics. The laptop is very smart looking, has all the features I need, battery life is good, it's fast and the screen display is excellent.

full size large but lightweight – i have a lightweight zero 14 from many years ago. over the break i got this new zero 17 phantom. its the same weight as my 8 year ild 14”. built really well, fast and has two drives. nice keyboard and good quality as always from venom, support guy was great too.
