VibroSlim Ultra Pro Questions & Answers
VerifiedHow do i get my music to play through my device
Hi There, thank you very much for getting in touch. Open any device you have with Bluetooth capability, perform search and after matching the connection to ‘Vibroslim’ you can play music. When power is on, the Bluetooth function will work automatically. I hope that helps. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance. Kind regards, Vibroslim
I have a Vibroslim ultra and the remote control no longer works. Can I buy another remote?
Hi Lesley, You most certainly can order a new remote from us. Please email support@vitality4life.com or call 1800 802 924 and we can organise this ASAP. Kindest, Michelle
Hi my vibroslim ultra pro has suddenly started playing loud music every time I turn the power on. It just started up one night and I had to turn it off. Now every time I turn it on loud music starts and I can’t stop it. Please tell me how to stop it because I want to use it everyday without the music? Cheers Eunice
[personal details removed]
Hi Eunice, The Ultra Pro has Bluetooth functionality inbuilt to enable listening to music via the speakers in the Ultra Pro. Possibly the Bluetooth is connecting to a music device , you can use your phone to check this and control the on/off operation of this via your phone's Bluetooth. If you would prefer to call us direct we can talk you through this and confirm a few more details.
Our support team is available on our 1800 802 924 # Monday - Friday 9am-5pm NSW time and can help further if need be.
Many Thanks, Vitality 4 Life
How do you turn off bluetooth voice?
I do not know.. However wouldn't it be fun to set up the techs car, toaster etc with a similar activated on startup voice saying "YOUR CAR HAS NOW STARTED" or your toaster is now ready to use? I do not at all understand how people that create devices that are often used in the early morning and late at night do not include a simple Click on click off switch in the relay if they cannot understand why an announcement (instead of a light) is what is required for a consumer to understand when something has started and when a device has stopped. other companies have machines with a loud decibel 7 second Beep. The company that markets a quiet vibration machine "Hopefully VIBRO SLIM" will not only GREATLY increase sales they will also assist in the reduction of stress to those unhappy with "totally unnecessary" start up noises.. All we as consumers can do is wait until commonsense prevails in regards to this VERY EASILY fixed situation, I guess. Cheers, Johnny Pink
Hi Bones, thank you for your query - unfortunately this is a standard feature on the VibroSlim Ultra Pro and cannot be turned off. We hope this doesn't cause too much inconvenience. If you have any further queries or feedback regarding your machine, please do not hesitate to contact us on 1800 802 924. Kind regards, VibroSlim
Oh well if my only answer is to purchase one open it up and put a hole in the speaker to stop the noise affecting others in the quiet hours.. then I guess I will just have to get myself a second hand one and do it!!! I do realize this to not be your companies fault in anyway..... you guys just distribute them all's good, cheers.
In order to resolve my noise issue, I did go and purchase another machine online. It makes only two "tiny" beeps on start up and it is soooooo wonderful to be able to use it late at night and in the early morning I smile every time i am on it! All others tested made startup sounds that most definitely could still be heard under a tin roof during a rainstorm. I currently live in a caravan park unit with a tin roof and so" this is a fact" and not merely a metaphor. I do "HONESTLY" believe that your company would increase sales (the reason for being in business) if the noise was either completely removed... the decibel level dramatically dropped... or a cut of switch was attached as an option. I hope my feedback serves your company. it is sooooo great not having loud beeps or announcements each time the machine starts .. it really is! Cheers, Johnny Pink
Hi John Pink, Thank you again for your feedback / update. We do hope you have success with your new device, if we can be of any further assistance please don't hesitate to contact our support team on 1800 802 924 or via support@vitality4life.com

Hi, is this machine suitable for kids? If so, from what age onwards and how long can they be on it? Thanks!
Hi Lyn, I myself don't have children but I don't see any issue with them using the machine. I would advice you to supervise them and ensure they use it safely and responsibly at all times. I would suggest a few minutes at a time and on an empty stomach until they are used to the motion.
I hope this helps you :)
HI Lyn, When visiting my grandchildren have used it, and found it fun but I agree until you can see that they cope OK an adult should be supervising. Place it adjacent to a wall or chair so that they have something to hang on to particularly when they first start and get use to the vibration. Use level one for a while - even for a few weeks - they will know when they are ready to progress to another level or speed. Once you can see they have good balance, up to ten minutes is OK but start with just a minute or two. Explain to young ones (under 12) that it is not a toy, maybe put the remote out of their reach and disconnect the cord so that there is no chance of them using it when you are not in the room. If the children are getting plenty of outdoor exercise, keeping fit and healthy, and not overweight, they should not really need fitness equipment. But for overweight children it could be just the novelty that would help them get started on a fitness program. I am over 70 and personally use it up to 30 minutes a day - 10 minutes at a time - sometimes sitting on it, sometimes standing. There is a DVD and a chart that shows all sorts of stretching and interesting routines that young people like to do. It is a wonderful and easy way to keep fit and by keeping it in the same room as the TV there is really no excuse for NOT exercising!
Hi Lyn, thank you for your query. 'Robin and John' have answered this question very well! We believe that children who are healthy and able to exercise normally should be encouraged to be active and incorporate exercise into their routine in any way. The VibroSlim Ultra Pro is gentle enough that it would be suitable for any age, however we often recommend that anyone under the age of 12 consult their doctor or physician prior to starting any exercise program. Please feel free to call us and discuss if you have any further queries at all, we would be happy to help - ph 1800 802 924. Kind regards, VibroSlim
what is the difference between the ultra slim and the pro model. I have peripheral neuropathy
Hi Stacey, our VibroSlim models offer slightly different specs and functionality, however essentially they are both oscillating (side to side, like a see-saw) vibration machines. We have prepared a quick comparison guide on our VibroSlim products (http://www.vitality4life.com.au/fitness-equipment/vibration-machines/) or a more detailed guide compared to some other popular brands here (http://www.vitality4life.com.au/blog/product-reviews/compare-vibration-machines/). The differences are mainly important due to user preference - ie some people want Bluetooth functionality, where as others don't require this. As with any existing health conditions, please consult with your doctor before embarking on a new exercise program involving a vibration machine. If you have any further queries or would like to discuss further please feel free to call us on 1800 802 924 - we would be happy to help! Kind regards, VibroSlim
How do I pull the battery cover off the remote control so I can change the battery?
Hi John, the battery cover should just slide off easily. If you are experiencing any trouble with this please call our Customer Service team on 1800 802 924 and we would be happy to provide further assistance. Kind regards, VibroSlim
My husband has a below the knee amputation, he's had an artificial limb for 30 years. In the manual it says that you should not use the vibration platform if you have an artificial limb, please tell me why.
I am just a consumer I can't give you a medical reason I would assume it would be the vibration and the tilting platform may cause undue stress to joints and prosthesis frictions perhaps this question could be asked of the manufacturing and products development teams
I agree with Anthea. If unsure, seek medical advice. Anyone with implants is told not to use it
Hi Adrienne, we advise against using the vibration machine if you have an artificial limb as it could lead to shifting of these prostheses and put undue stress on them. It is best to check and get clearance for any medical conditions with your doctor before starting exercise on vibration machines. Kind regards, VibroSlim
Where do you buy one and how much are these machines?
Hi Jane, this product is from Vitality4life in Byron Bay. You can purchase directly from them but I got mine off their EBay store for about $50 cheaper. Postage is included and o lay takes a couple of days to arrive. All up this will cost you just under $500 but it's great quality and weighs 17kg.
Vitality 4life though I did have a hiccup with them once it was sorted I received my VibroSlim and could not be happier
Hi Jane, We can certainly help you purchasing one of our Vibroslim Ultra Pro's please visit our website to order: external link or you can call us on 1800 802 924. Regards, V4L Team
Hi, there is no mention of how much time per session for optimum results? Is it a matter of the more you do the better the results or is there a recommended maximum recommended usage?
Pat
Hi Pat, we recommend full body training no longer than 20 minutes approximately 3 to 4 times a week with proper rest and recovery time in between workouts. This will give your muscles time to recover from the workouts. You can stretch and massage on the machine every day. The best way to start training is by increasing the length of time and frequency gradually. Please feel free to get in touch on 1800 802 924 if you have any further queries. Kind regards, VibroSlim
Can one use the equipment if one has atrial fibrillation? I am a personal trainer but focus on cardio and resistance training.
I am not medically qualified to answer this question.
Hi Norm, we advise to consult with your cardiologist prior to commencing exercise on a vibration machine. We were recently advised by a customer that they were able to go ahead with vibration training however each individual is different. Please contact our Customer Service Team on 1800 802 924 if you have any further queries, they would be happy to help - V4L

Does anyone have knee problems? I had arthroscopic surgery in both knees and have confirmed arthritis.
Hello Renee. I'm guessing you have your answer by now but I have bone on bone (arthritis) knee and hip joints but am happy to let you know my result after I try this machine within the next 4 weeks.
Hi Renee, there has been research to support that vibration exercise has assisted in recovery of Arthroscopic Reconstructive Surgery subsequently due to Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) Rupture. Additionally, for people that suffer from OA, where traditional exercises can be limited due to the inability to consistently tolerate weight bearing exercises (squats, lunges etc); vibration therapy has been proven to be used as part of the recovery process, essential for restoring the support and shock absorbing capabilities of the muscles around the joint. By utilising the vibration platform through short intervals to “jumpstart” the neuromuscular system, circulation to the joint can be improved as well as local muscular activity. We recommend checking with your doctor before undertaking any new fitness regime, as each person is different. Kind regards, V4L
Would the vibraslim help me to rebuild muscle? I ruptured my achilles tendon over a year ago & my calf muscle is still 4cm smaller on that side.
Sorry Johcar, I am not medically qualified to answer that question. Good luck, Vibroslim wont go astray in your life for lots of other reasons though. I imagine that exercise is restricted or painful for you as a result of your shortened calf muscle in which case Vibroslim will assist in passive exercise (is that a contradiction in terms!) to keep blood and bits moving.
Hi Johcar, Given that your injury occured over a year ago, we would assume you are in the recovery stage of returning to exercise/training and pain is gone? If so, vibration training is a great way to ease yourself back into exercise as it is low impact and gentle on tendons, bones and joints. Vibration training strengthens the muscles through a continuous succession of muscle contractions and relaxations hundreds of times per minute and using the body weight and acceleration as the load, rather than traditional free weights. Depending on your type of injury and rehabilitation prgramme, eccentric exercises (standing half off platofrm and extending up and down) are used to lengthen the muscle in the calf. These same exercises can be performed on a vibration machine and should help to speed up the muscle building process, without putting any additional strain on the muscles (like you would through the addition of free weights).
We would definately recommend a vibration machine that has a lower frequency range of between 5-12 Hz, as this is perfect for recovery and stretching and any higher would probably be too intense with your type of injury. Both of our VibroSlim Ultra machines fall into this category and would be suitable. We also offer a 30 day money back guarantee with free returns, so you can try it for the 30 days to see if you can feel a difference.
The above information is guidance only, and we would recommend consulting with your physiotherapist prior to undertaking any new exercise regime.
We hope this helps, please let us know if we can assist further. V4L
Hi Johcar, I think it would be of some help if you use it for at least 10 min every day i had a complete knee replacement 18 months ago and a foot operation 6 months earlier on the same leg, so I have not been active for a long time. I do believe that the Vibroslim has helped me a lot ,and I am not taking as much medication, as before. It has strengthen my leg muscles without strain.
How noisy is the machine? I live in an apartment complex and don't want to disturb my neighbours.
Hi oz1971, the VibroSlim Ultra Pro operates at 60-65 dB, which can basically be likened to the noise level of a normal conversation and is rated as "quiet" for most home appliances, so is perfectly suitable to an apartment complex. We have lots of customers who use these machines where noise is a consideration and they find it to be very unubtrusive. Please let us know if you have any further questions - we are here to help! V4L Team
The vibroSlim is not very noisy at all it makes a slight thud noise and if the TV is on it doe's not interfere at all .
By placing a rubber non skid mat (not that the unit would slide) you will provide an extra buffer between your vibro and the unit below. I am able to have a normal conversation whilst the unit is going.
For anyone else wondering this same thing - be cautioned that the unit on start up is VERY loud with the robotic voice announcing that bluetooth is ready to pair with loud beeps and when it shuts off there are very loud beeps.
What is the weight of the vibro slim ultra. From your explanation of the differences between the ultra and ultra pro, the pro seems only different in appearance.
Can you specify the differences better?
Thanks
Roshni
Hi Roshni, thank you for your question. The main difference between the Ultra Pro and the Ultra is appearance and also the Ultra Pro has Bluetooth connectivity with on board speakers, so you can play music from your device through to the speakers on the machine. Specs wise the machines are the same (same programs, power, settings etc). The Ultra Pro weighs 17kg and the Ultra weighs 16kg so fairly similar in weight. The dimensions of the Ultra are: 74cm x 42cm x 11.5cm and the dimensions of the Ultra Pro are: 62cm x 38cm x 14cm, so the Ultra has a slightly larger standing platform and is slightly thinner too. Please let us know if you have any further queries. V4L
1)it is much sleeker and more modern looking, 2) it has the inbuilt hi-fi speakers, it is at least half the price of the Powerfit for a very similar device, much better value for money, the weight is only 17 kgs. and very portable, I love it....
....Joe.....
What is the difference between the vibroslim ultra and the vibroslim ultra pro in terms of specs? Number of speed settings etc...

What is the maximum weight capacity for the person to use the machine?
Hi Maria, apologies for the delayed response - the maximum user weight for this machine is 125kg. Please let us know if you have any further questions, we are here to help! V4L Team
Hi there,
Is this machine safe for people with stents in their arteries or will the vibrations work the stents loose over repeated use?
Hi Buddha, While vibration training is generally considered a beneficial addition to most exercise regimes, generally we don't recommend vibration training to anyone who has, especially recently, had a stent inserted in their arteries or have any underlying cardiac condition. This isn't to say that it may not be suitable, but it would be best to speak with your cardiologist/cardiac specialist prior to starting any new kind of exercise.
Please let us know if you have any questions, V4L
