Causes Stomach Pains – I've been consuming Vitasoy for decades as I'm lactose intolerant. But over the past couple of months, everytime I consume it, I have horrendous stomach pain. My mother also has the same issues drinking it. What has changed in your product to cause this? Show details
Good but new batch lacks body – I love this but recent batch lacks the usual body! Show details
Perfect drink for me! – Lately I am loving this drink and got addicted to it. I can't skip my meal without this drink. Regular soy milk does not taste good but this drink is an exception amongst. Show details
Best Soy Milk Ever But – ....My family drinks a lot of Vitasoy and that means a lot of empties. We consume about six 1 litre bottles/cartons in two days, maybe more when making smoothies and I use Vitasoy when cooking. This creates excess time at the supermarket, excess annoyance when supermarket runs out, excess packaging, excess plastic. It would be greatly… Read more
appreciated if Vitasoy Soy Milky Regular was available in 2 litre capacity. The benefits are there for families and the environment.
Best tasting non-dairy milk alternative that I've ever found – Most soy milks have a raw bean taste which most people dislike. Regular Soy Milky doesn't have much of this taste, so it tastes good in tea etc. All almond milk and boxed coconut-based alternatives to milk that I've tried taste watery and/or awful. The ingredients stated on the box are: Filtered water, whole soybeans (min. 14%), raw sugar,… Read more
sunflower oil, mineral (calcium phosphate), natural flavour, sea salt. It is a long-life product (presumably UHT?). I see there is also a refrigerated version in plastic bottles in the supermarkets. I thought the long-life product tastes slightly better (strange I know). Some other brands are made from solvent de-fatted soy protein rather than whole soybeans. I don't see any mention on the box of Carrageenan
Great flavour, love the milky taste! – As someone who normally dislikes soy milk I was pleasantly surprised with the flavour of this one. I found it easy to drink on its own or in tea/coffee. I normally have regular milk - light or skim however purchased soy to cater to a friends dairy allergy when they came to stay. In the past I had to have soy when breastfeeding to cater for my… Read more
daughters allergy (which she has grown out of). I tried different brands and disliked the flavour of all. However found this one enjoyable to drink with a great flavour. It will definitely be the soy milk I purchase the next time I need some.
New plastic bottle – When everybody is trying to eliminate plastic, you change the carton container to a plastic bottle. You have done the wrong thing. I will never buy your products again. Do you know about CLIMATE CHANGE? Show details
I find this delicious and great ingredients – Use filtered soy beans unlike cheaper products Delicious and creamy, delicate nutty flavour I don’t miss regular milk when I drink this
Vegetable Gum 407 – I used to love Soy Milky - until I was told that Vegetable Gum 407 (which this product contains) is another term for carrageenan. If you don't know what carrageenan is ... Google it ... this emulsifying (thickening) ingredient isn't good for your body.
If you're looking for a soy milk that actually tastes good, look no further – Whether you're hopping on the vegan bandwagon or just looking for a dairy free milk alternative, vitasoy will be your friend. You can try all sort of different soy milks or dairy free milks but vitasoy, I can guarantee is definitely one of the best in terms of texture and taste. I've never looked back!
This Product also Contains potentially harmful Carrageenan – Although this product has a nice silky texture, it contains the potentially cancer causing ingredient Carrageenan. Professor of clinical medicine at the University of Iowa, [name removed] says 'There is very good evidence in the animal studies that carrageenan poses a definite risk,' her review of 45 studies of the effects of the gum, also known… Read more
as E407, has convinced her that it can cause gastro-intestinal cancers.

I actually contacted Vitasoy and was told they only use Food Grade Carrageenan and it is safe. End of story.. I have to admit, for some reason I didn't feel very comforted by that response.
Food Grade Carrageenan, however, may also contain low levels of the Carcinogenic Degraded Form.
March 2003: The European Commission's Scientific Committee on Food, reviews Tobacman's 2001 article, and reviews recent safety data on carrageenan. The Committee suggests that the amount of Degraded Carrageenan in Food-Grade Carrageenan be kept to levels below 5%,
2005: Marinalg, the industry trade group, tested 12 samples of food-grade carrageenan from a variety of suppliers in six different laboratories. The results from the industry's own test results are cause for serious concern with one sample found to contain 25% degraded carrageenan.

In Europe carrageenan is not permitted as a food additive for baby formula.
It's such a shame Vitasoy uses this ingreedient (there are safer substitutes) because it is otherwise a very nice tasting product and I would keep using it if not for the above concerns. Creamy taste Contains Carrageenan
vitasoy a favourite – This isn't something i personally drink but my son and his girlfriend are both into soy milk in a big way. They like it, and this is a preferred brand of theirs. They usually drink it in tea, coffee and use it over their cereal. If you are after a reliable brand that tastes good, then this might be the one for you. I personally like to buy the… Read more
long life milk as I can store it for a while without taking up fridge space. The container is a good shape, easy to fit in the door of the fridge. Good taste, easy to store Not always the cheapest.
Silky silky Soy Milky – We've had a loooooot of soy milk products in our house over the years. Many of them Not So Good. This one's yummy. It's sweet, tastes decadent in tea and coffee and luscious in smoothies. Delicious and luscious taste It's expensive but "you're worth it!"
