Vostok 3.5kW VOSPAC12KWA – When it comes to room-sharing rental house accommodation, you have to have your own portable air conditioner for your bedroom and just happened to buy one from Kogan. Once I installed the window kit with the hose attached to the portable air conditioner sitting on the floor, the window kit started to fall slightly inwards when I turned it on from the force of the hot air. I solved this problem by using velcro hook and loop tape to hold the window kit in place from all sides. I also used Moroday Econo-seal thick white foam tape from Bunnings to seal the gap from the rear edge of the sliding window to prevent mosquitoes from entering the gap between the sliding window and outside window. I used a rolled up bath towel to block the bottom gap of the bedroom door to prevent cool air from escaping. I chose 23'C so that the fan mode remains on when it has reached that temperature after cool mode so that machine noise does not happen much at all while I sleep at night during summer hot season. It may seem warm 23'C but all that cool moist air trapped in the bedroom makes it feel there is a cool wind breeze at the same time.
