Westinghouse 70cm 4 Zone Induction WHI743BD

Have had 2 of these units. After having had both European (Miele) and Westinghouse, the quality and features are the same however the WH is less than half the price of the Miele. It's a no brainer !

Not designed to last – Replacing an Electrolux that failed after 5 years. This one failed after only 4 (E8 21, temperature sensor). A $1400 appliance should last significantly longer than this. Warranty is of course only 2 years.

Avoid this cooktop – This is perhaps the worse cooktop I have ever used. Problems from day one. It sometimes increases the heat itself. Often, the touch control does not work when you need to decrease or increase the heating and it is very annoying. I have to move away the pot to make the heat adjustment working again. We are now looking at replacing this cooktop even we have been using it for just over a year.
