Do Not Purchase - Extremely slow in heating up
Had a Eurochef induction which worked perfectly and was extremely fast. Just installed Westinghouse and am very disappointed with the heat output. I mainly got the hotplate because of Large Pan with 3600w output but getting this output is impossible. To boil 1 cup of water had to use Boost and it took for every to get to the boiling point. What a mistake this is. Not sure what to do about it yet. Hate using it!!
Purchased in June 2021 at Betta Home Living for $945.00.
Useless.. Large zone not able to achieve quoted high output...
Beware this Chinese induction cook top is useless when using the large zone.
Its never able to achieve the rated output on the large zone no matter what brand of induction pans are used. Service men are not skilled, ill informed and abrupt. No one at Westinghouse has been able to explain the "undocumented red indicator" which comes on when attempting to use the large zone. It’s probably a over current indicator limiting output power but Westinghouse cannot, or will not, look at the circuit diagrams. Perhaps they don't have any. Maybe just tak...ing an off the shelf Chinese product and labelling it Westinghouse. The other two zones work perfectly. Westinghouse “Back End” works nicely with prompt responses to service requests and a replacement unit. Not recommended if your main reason for purchase was the large zone used for stir-fry’s or similar.
