Kettle leaks – I was bought 2 of these kettles for my birthday last year as my 2 son's knew I wanted a red kettle and didn't know the other had bought one. The first lasted 13 months before leaking from the clear water view window. The second (now out of guarantee too) started leaking after 2 months.

Nice kettle but leaks – Nice looking Quite quiet but it has started to leak from the clear plastic window which runs up the side Ive pushed the offending seal back into place really firmly and it seems to be holding...but for how long

Quiet kettle, prone to leaking – We were given a red one and it's a lovely looking kettle and is much quieter compared to our old sunbeam "quite" kettle. The only issue is that the clear piece that lets you see the water level doesn't sit flush and has a tendency to work it's way out of the opening, resulting in water leaking, we can kinda push it back in, but it continues to ease itself out albeit slowly.

Great kettle, loves the look and serves its purpose – We bought this electric kettle on sale because it is Westinghouse. It turns out to be fantastic, it looks great and has a metallic finish. Initially we were worried that it might be too hot to handle once it's at work but not at all, it's warm to the touch even when filled with boiling water. Loving everything about it so far!
