Westinghouse WHKE06SS

Didn't last long – This is not an expensive kettle, but it barely lasted two years, which is pretty poor imo. I will attach a pic of the short circuit (?) where the kettle docks with the electrical base. Look closely near the centre pin and you will see a melted something. The kettle was not abused. I was carefull to check for water or spills when I used it. Relatively noisy too.
Purchased in for $50.
Very disappointed – I ordered this kettle expecting it to be the same standard of my larger Westinghouse appliances. I am extremely disappointed. The 'water level indicator' is actually a line stamped on the inside on the kettle and not visible unless looking inside. The 'easy release lid' has to be pulled up manually and is quite stiff to open. Add to this, there is no filter in the spout, just holes stamped through the stainless steel which are large enough for a small insect to go through.
Purchased in at Appliance Giant for $30.
