Love It - Have Pidgeon Pair – This is my second Pidgeon Pair, have had them about 10 weeks now, bought them after my beloved 14yo F&P pair died. The footprint is a little bigger than the Fisher & Paykel & almost didn't fit into the space. Have had no problems, the fridge keeps everything cold despite the family constantly opening the door on weekends (I have it on a medium setting). The design is good, there are 5 shelves (including the top of the crisper) with plenty of height for taller items. I felt that the shelves are a little narrow, but this is compensated by the number of shelves & the heighth of the fridge, this is not necessarily all bad as I have found that things don't seem to get forgotten at the back of the fridge. Infact the spacing between all the shelves is very generous, there is oodles of room to place items on the shelf below the meat keeper, & if you needed more shelving there is enough room to accommodate an additional shelf if you choose to purchase an one. Shelves are made from safety glass, are framed for a nice finish, & are easy to clean. Heaps of door shelves as well. The vegetable crisper is not huge but it is adequate.

On the down side...first thing I noticed was how easily the fridge moved, too easily in fact, actually it moved every time you opened the door, until I realised that the delivery men who installed it had not used the wheel blocks provided. This was easily remodied. Secondly, The pair are quite tall & larger than my old pidgeon pair, at first I felt that they dominated the kitchen, but now they seem to blend & this in itself is not a problem. Having said that, I guess the biggest problem I have encountered is that the vegetable crisper cannot be fully removed from the fridge unless the door is opened to around 90 degrees. The design of my kitchen does not allow for the door to be opened this far, it falls short by about 2cm. I can open the vegetable draw without difficulty to take items in or out, but to remove the draw for cleaning means that I have to pull the fridge out into the middle of the room (lucky for me it moves easily afterall).

I love this fridge, it suits my lifestyle perfectly, but if you have a smaller kitchen you might want to use a tape measure before you purchase, the installers had to remove the packaging from her & her sister (freezer) to angle them through my front door. Good practical design, easy cleaning, keeps cold. (ditto for her twin sister freezer) Its size is not for everyone
