Good oven & easy to use
We purchased this oven recently as our previous one stopped working (it was significant update from the old one). I have had it for about a month and so far I am really happy with it. It works great, its really quiet & doesn't get too hot to touch, which is really important for me as I have toddler who loves touching it. I have found it pre-heats quickly & cooks evenly on correct settings & temp. The air-fryer option is also a great feature since I don't need to buy one additionally. I love the way sleek design & fits perfectly in my kitchen. Overall it has ticked all the boxes for me.

Terrible oven, terrible service. When we turn on the oven, the knobs and the stainless steel section becomes extremely hot, it becomes untouchable. Electrolux said there is no fault with the oven, that is how it is! Clearly safety isn't important to them.

We bought this and its terrible
It doesn't cook roasts well it doesn't actually cook anything well. It surprises me that it gets 4 stars.
It either burns or it takes ages to cook.
The worst oven we have ever had

Worst oven ever !
Firstly you can’t phone anyone at Westinghouse for any advice .
The oven exhausts hot air and smoke to the front so our kitchen stinks every time, we need to open all the windows. Our previous oven exhausted at the rear and we never had this problem.
It is not clear which settings to use .
We hate this purchase.
Purchased in June 2020 at The Good Guys for $1,189.00.
I bake a lot of biscuits for charity and the side biscuits get burned and the middle biscuits not cooked through I have tried everything from lowering the temperature to using all different trays, I had someone out who told me how to use the oven and that the thermostat was working. disappointing.
Update: I have put a post on here about this one got a reply to contact Electrolux at customer care which I did leaving my phone details so far no reply, spent an hour over three days trying to contact Electrolux service by phone no answer can I please get some help.

Works good so far
Installed as part of a kitchen reno. Westinghouse so we'll see how long it lasts but so far so good. Has basic features - rapid heat seems to work well even if it's not quite as rapid as one would like. Hot air does vent out of the top so need well-ventilated kitchen (or somewhere you don't mind heating up).
We love our oven, it cooks evenly and very fast. It has many different selections including pizza selection. It has a timer, which is great. We also love that it has a pre heat selection as well. We would definitely recommend this to family and friends, as we love it. It is also very spacious.
When I bought this oven last year, it was one of the last ones built here in Australia, so great timing. The oven fitted perfectly into the space available. Looks great and has plenty of settings. It bakes beautifully, both roasts and cakes come out lovely. Fries and the likes, grill works well, though I don't use it to grill meats, but other things like garlic breads etc. The door doesn't get hot, can touch it and see through clearly. Hope it lives a long life.
Good oven, but not great
The oven was working fine, then the fan suddenly started making clicking noises. I called the support line, and they sent a repairer to have the fan replaced. Overall it's a good oven, cooks well and evenly, and I can't complain about it, except for the clicking noise. However, it was quickly repaired which was good.
Great oven that cooks well. I got the white because I'm not a fan of stainless steel appliances. My only complaint is that it vents hot air between the door and top of the oven which gets hot in summer when you're standing at the stove while also cooking something in the oven. It has a 'cool' touch door which means young kids don't burn their hands if they touch the door so that's another plus.
very easy to use multifunctional electric oven.has many extra functions for different cooking methods.looks good and fits well in the wall space.very good value for money if you don't want to spend thousands of dollars on an oven.it cooks very even and is easy to use and clean, semi self cleaning.this appliance has lots of additional functions, choice of top and bottom elements or rapid heating, grilling ,fan or conventional heat or both.very happy with the product.also has not marking finger print free stainless finish.
Questions & Answers
Hi. I’m a licensed electrician and have had my 10 month old WVE616SC replaced a couple days ago. Yes I got a straight replacement as I have Westinghouse cooktop also and thought surely it isn’t more than one oven doing this.
Firstly, the knobs and top fascia get very hot, 52’c on knobs measured post cook and 60’c on the digital display. It was then replaced after a tech came out, fitted a indeterminable part and subsequently the circuit protective device trips 10 minutes after turning off the oven!
I’ll check back with the AS/NZ 3000:18 max permissible temps for accessible parts and parts intended to be touched for operation - but does Westinghouse/Electrolux actually consider this acceptable, in light of not just safety but the approx. .75mm2 internal wiring being degraded over time being exposed to the even higher internal temp behind that display panel?
It overheats it would appear because after cooking the heat just sits there; no fan, no method of cooling or heat dissipation.
So again, does Westinghouse/Electrolux really find this to be acceptable?
I’ll also check back with a thermal tester for an accurate temp read after cooking at 180’c and leaving the oven sit for 20mins.
People can burn their hands at 50 and 60 and higher degrees - the stone top even gets warm- I have never seen an oven do this. It’s 2021, and the oven is two days out of packaging. It was suggested I leave the oven door open (3 kids under 10 in home) to assist with keeping it cool!
Reluctant to ever purchase these and associated brands again. Reinstate my confidence in this name guys!!
Does anyone else have issue with temperature fluctuation? My 2 month old WVE616SC fluctuates so much when cooking.
I noticed my food wasn’t cooking properly and I had to add 5-10 mins to everything.
I called the Westinghouse authorised techs and they’ve come out to investigate.
They set up the thermometer in the oven and set to 180°C. The indicator light doesn’t go off until it hits 195°C and then it starts to cool down to 165°C before the light comes back on and then heats back to 195°C again.
What’s the point of setting to 180°C if it’s going to go all over the place?
Is anyone else thinking that’s dumb? To me 15°C is a big variation when cooking a cake for example.
