lasted 11 years can't complain!! – Yes, freezer and fridge components narrow, but ice and water dispenser fantastic, and no problems at all until compressor died yesterday after 11years of continuous running.
Bad – I do not know whether this is an one off case, but better expect this sort of delays if you need a replacement from whirlpool. It is really value for money. There was an issue in the first fridge (cooling fan didn't work).Since I have a 2 year warranty I called the agents within 1 week of purchase to replace the fridge. Actually although I thought it was a simple thing it took me nearly one and a half months to get the replacement. I wasted about 20 calls to them and had to throw a lot of the meat products that I had stored.
Good – Unfortunately, I had to choose a fridge that fitted neatly into a pre-existing wall space, and this is the model that suited. And although mine is an earlier model to this one, it is basically the same in every aspect. The doors, shelves and vegetable/meat trays have lasted but the runners that hold the two lower trays, cracked off and broke many years ago and are irrepairable.
However, the major drawback is the width of the freezer compartment. It is only just the width of a sheet of frozen pastry! The depth overcompensates this and items get "lost" in the back of the freezer.
Mechanically, this is a very sound appliance, and the "grained' exterior on the door fronts is very easy to keep clean. Durability Freezer width and depth.
