water and ice available thru the fridge door. When delivered the fridge had a broken shelf and an incomplete water connection kit. The retailer was contacted and the approved appliance repair group attended next day, saying that they would order the parts immediately. After 2 months of being unable to make ice or use the water dispenser we contacted the repairer who said they were still awaiting the parts. We then contacted Whirlpool who refused to assist us. We applied pressure to the retailer who had similar difficulties with Whirlpool; we had the benefit of listening in on their call to Whirlpool. A few days later the water connection kit was supplied and we are now told the replacement shelf will not be available until early next year.

Terrible – The product might be OK, but if you buy it, pray it never breaks down as the after sales service is non existent. My fridge stopped working after 18 months. (Fine, these things happen), but it took 40 days before I received a replacement fridge. If I had not kept on the case, I'm not sure how long it would have taken. total disinterest by Whirlpool with non returned phone calls and emails, to the replacement fridge having parts missing. Enquiries to get the missing parts sent so I could fit them also fell on deaf ears. Copy of the communications chain can be obtained by emailing me at v8crewman@yahoo.com.au.
