XTrail Camper trailer – A disaster. Failed suspension components on repeated occasions. Camper ended up being trucked 600 kms to get it repaired then failed again 1500 kms later. Manufacturer just offers to fix it every time with more of the same. Continual component failure
Rustyhelen, we admit that there are issues with your trailer, partially our fault. We know you are going to sell it after that trip regardlessly and we regret that you make use of this incident asking for full refund after having it for over a year and brought back almost unrecognized which was not caused by the fault.
We have agreed in the first place to repair it completely and can guarantee that no same fault will be happening again after repair. However, you never consider any repair propose at all nor our guarantee.
Besides, once we realize what caused the problem, we have provided proper parts to fix the issue and you tow the trailer back from QLD to VIC without further issue. We agree to fix all the damages resulted from the faulty parts from the beginning and never try to avoid our responsibility. Maybe you have other intention keep asking for FULL refund after having it for over a year.
i have had my xtrail ranger now for well over a year, rear fold 9ft tent, excellent bit of gear! would i recommend this camper/ company to my friends, yes. i have not been to the cape in it but i have put it through its paces and i am very happy with the way it performs. tracks well, value for money, exceptional service from Sam and his team. only issue i have had is one of the 12v outlets is a little sus, have to get the cord on the right angle to work properly...all the accessories inverter/charger/kitchen/watertank etc work as they should..build quality very robust and built to last!
Excellent – My mate took a ranger he purchased second hand from the cape to darwin through arnhemland and it ate up all the terrain he put it through . The whole trailer was built tough and the welds were one of the best I've seen and I and a boiler maker. After seeing his trailer I am in the middle of dealing with [name removed] to get my own. The only thing would be the color it's a big plain but very good paint work
Sensational product – I have had my xtrail ranger now for well over a year, the trailer has performed faultless. The build quality of the trailer is very tough and robust, i would have no hesitation in recommending xtrail campers, they represent excellent value and the service provided has been exceptional. i have 3 children and as kids do they love to play/swing/jump on everything. The camper has performed above expectations. The large storage box is great, i can fit all the camp chairs, kids play things, 2 x 50 litre of tubs of gear in there and still have plenty of room under the bed for storage.
Only issue i have had is a 12v outlet is a little intermittent at the rear of the camper. Robust Build quality, Ease of set up, Kitchen, Value for money

I have had my Xtrail Ranger for 17 months and couldn't be happier, the trailer is built tougher than most others I viewed before buying and the tent is excellent in both the quality of the canvas and manufacturing. The aftersales service has been excellent with a few small issues but overall 100% happy
