Yamaha F40

Not bad – Smoother running, not as loud as other motor models and very very reliable. Its well-balanced efficiency from start off to full power on the water. Between 600-900 rpm. Still got two options if you want to remote steer the motor or tiller steer. I go with tiller steer though. To me it feels rustic and old school that way. Aesthetically for the f40, it look nice and sleek than their first 40hp model

Yamaha motor great stuff – The Yamaha motor is very quiet at idle and provides smooth reliable power through out the rev range. The motor seems to be very economical on fuel. This makes an excellent motor for my Brooker 420C boat. The boat gets up on the plane quickly and will travel at 26 mph. At low trolling speeds the motor is extremly quiet and smooth and it will troll happily down to 700 rpm quiet, smooth power range, fuel efficient
