Been with this company for a while and always found the care great. I have a few long term carers that help me with shopping and cleaning and found that I have connected well with them. Nothing has been too much hassle.
Great first impressions. My mother was recently given an Aged Care Package which we found difficult to navigate. The owner came out to chat with us, putting our minds at ease during a very stressful time. I liked that we had choice of carer and the option to meet them first. Having multiple carers was really good for mum as she is a very social person. It’s so nice to have this service in the more remote areas of Melbourne.
Follow-up · Flexibility- we didn’t require around the clock care but I believe they do offer that. Availability- they have always been available when I have needed it and there has been great communication.
The owner seemed like a professional person however members of his staff were very unprofessional. A qualified nurse who had mental health issues admitting she had Bipolar made a scene at our home and ran out crying and a general disability support worker when asked to do a quick vac and mop stated we should leave the work for the younger staff. Another staff member a nurse was rude and wore inappropriate attire almost sexual. Overall the owner was more focused on his personal life and made judgements and comments that were inappropriate. I would not recommend Yarra Nursing the owner and the team are very unprofessional for in home nursing care.
