Zen Space Desks Electric Sit Stand Gaming Desk

Bait you with low prices on stock they dont have – Ordered over a month ago. They were running a promo at the time. Came back after a week saying they don't have stock and will update in 2-3 weeks. After 3+ weeks they then said it will be another 2 weeks but couldn't guarantee they would be able to ship by then. Would not order from them again. Communication is very poor and they should not be selling stock that they do not have - and if they are they need to be able to offer rigid timelines for stock delivery.
Purchased in at Zen Space Desks for $900.
I can game at it, zoom at it and park a car on it! – I wanted a very good desk for a home office where I'd been all during Covid lockdowns (Melbourne) and being partial to gaming it seemed logical to combine all the things I needed for work and play. Hence a "gaming desk". The best of both worlds. The best desk needed to have the following attributes in my world: * Wide and deep - so it can be covered with paperwork and tech gear * Strong - to accommodate piles of tech gear (speakers, monitor stand, printer, microphone stand, notebooks, laptops, NAS, zoom lighting etc). AND... It won't sag in the middle after long time of use * Sturdy - doesn't move when you jostle it, firmly planted * Variable height with smooth controls - automated push button multiple heights when standing vs sitting. No clunky manual latching and jerking around * easy way to tidy up all the tech cabling
This desk from Zen Space Desks is fantastic and meets all the criteria. It wasn't the cheapest I researched by a long stretch. Good manufacture costs! Easily the heaviest, widest and strongest desk I've had (and I've had plenty over the years). This DOES make it harder to handle and assemble due to the weight and size (1800mm wide version) but with a few people helping, no problem.
Zen Space Desks people were great, delivery was fine, assembling was easy (videos and manuals provided) and the overall look of it very impressive. The scalloped out part that you sit in works very well, love that.
Another good thing about this desk is that it's part of an ecosystem of bits that add-on. I also got the matching monitor arm (industrial strength and heavy itself), the cable tidy compartment (lets you push everything up into a box under the desk) and the 8 power points options. Viewed from the front, you see one cable duo entering at the bottom and nothing else is basically visible underneath at all.
The desk control is digital and you can assert 4 positions or just dial it up or down a notch or two with arrow buttons. This is very smooth and quiet.
Overall, this desk could last a lifetime. Very good indeed.
