The colour is teal. It's not an emerald green as the box shows, absolutely fraudulent advertising. The formula came out super liquidy, and it took ages to get any usable dye from the packaging, which doesn't go as far as other colours do. Show details

oh no...... i have black hair with a lot of silver in the front. i applied the colour to the underneath to add some rich darkness. two weeks later my beautiful silver hair is green tobacco nicotine as a hairdresser retired i choose Schwarzkopf thinking that LIVE was a true semi permanent. i so so hope this disgusting colour can be removed. any hints Schwarzkopf please :{{{{{{{{{{{ Show details

Bought the medium ash blond. Applied it to previously foiled hair (light blond) which had become a little brassy. Finished up with dark chestnut hair and that was after only 15 minutes processing. If I’d waited the full 30 minutes it would now be black. Hate it with a passion. Will never buy this brand again. Show details

hair..it has given an overall smoky appearance with pops of lilac,I absolutely love it. The Schwarzkopf semi permanents give my hair body and bounce and makes it shine like a diamond. Being old and frugal,I prefer to buy them when they are on special like today I bought it from Woolworths for $8.40…they are normally round $12.00 I have never experienced any irritation to my scalp. They are incredibly easy to apply,no mixing is required just shampoo and towel dry hair then apply colour from the tube using the supplied gloves…I left it on for 20 minutes,rinse off and you are good to go. UPDATE. Unfortunately the first shampoo with Clairol Colour Protect my smoky look with pops of lilac was all gone…Bugger!

Misleading - Darker & Bluer than Presented – (TLDR: Darker and more blue than the box presented. Before and after photos linked at the bottom). I already had, except permanent so I didn't have to do as much upkeep. The picture on the box led me to believe it would be very light and not too deeply blue-toned.

However, it turned out a lot darker than the box presented and in the shade or indoors, it is a very blue tint.

The only saving grace is that other reviews say that it washes out easily compared to typical permanent dyes. However, I am not looking forward to the bluey/greeny tint others have experienced, as I like my silver/grey to be as purple-toned as possible.

So, not the worst dye I have ever used. But, it was misleading which was really disappointing from Live which have produced a silver toner I use often and other dyes which I haven't had a problem with. Best to avoid this dye unless you want a darker grey that is blue in certain lights.

A few weeks ago I did use a *little* bit of this dye mixed with a L'Oreal Light Ash Blonde dye (to give it more of a cool tone) and that worked okay.

My brassy hair turned out great – I didn't realise it was a purple toner until I opened the box, I thought it would actually be a silver colour. So I was hesitant to use, as usually purple toner shampoo etc usually do nothing to my brassy hair or make it purple if I leave it on too long. came out a much lighter/silver toned blonde which is amazing considering this is not a hair lightner.

There was only a few very light purple tones in my old bleach blonde bits that I'm sure will come out in my next wash, I wash my hair every 2nd day.

And I definitely had to use a conditioner after rinsing out the toner, as my hair was quite dry afterwards, but I do have very fine hair.

I have long fine hair so only needed to use 1 box.

I will definitely use again, hopefully in 2 weeks if it lasts that long.

therfore I was concerned with the possible final result. My hair achieved the exact colour example pictured on the top of the box. I am now under the impression hair dressers are writing these bad reviews because they are threatened and cannot compete.

platinum hair mask. The instructions are not specific enough and don't even include two of the applications in the instructions. Do not buy this hair product, it does not work and this company clearly does not care about what it's putting out there.

One star i did my sons hair in blue mercury and checked the back to see what colours it goes well with and it went well with medium brown but when I went to dye my sons hair wich was medium brown and no colour showed up what and irresponsible company do not trust live hair colours

Put this through my daughters hair, she was so excited. Once she washed it out after half an hour the entire dye washed out and her hair was the exact brown colour it was before the dye. Waste of time, money, and very disappointed. Show details

Orange. Natural orange. My hair is usually a medium brown, slightly cool. This colour turned it orange. Under light I have a tangerine halo. Do not use if your hair is even slightly cool toned. It’s like a bad take tan for your hair. Show details

Instead of turning my hair chocolate brown, it turned the roots orange! Terrible product, the end result was nothing like advertised even when I followed the instructions exactly and had a compatible starting hair colour. Do not buy!

Terrible bright orange colour – Like other posts, have used sachets for years and got fabulous results. Noticed recently that it was yet another New Formula, and I should have binned it as soon as I saw the bright orange-yellow formula! Waste of time & money – I used this product for years and was always really happy with it. Then Mahogany wasn't available anymore, so I stopped and used a different product. Recently bought Chocolate and it was a waste of time and money. Did nothing at all and was super messy to use, as way to liquid. Dripped everywhere! Certainly not buying these again. Show details

Doesn't tone brassy hair – Had brassy ends and grey hair. The toner left on brassy ends for 30 mins - no difference. The toner left on grey for 5 mins - purple. I think this is fine for yellow blonde hair but that's about it.

False advertising and a complete joke – Absolutely awful. Used this product all the time for years and was always great and exactly like the hot pink on the box. Tried it again after a years break. Dreadful. False advertising completely. It's turned my newly bleached blonde hair to a dirty blonde colour and half of it ran out after a couple of washes. Complete waste of money. Show details

Terrible – Terrible!! Was a wishy-washy light rose pink colour, and I left it on for 35 minutes! I had bright blonde bleached hair and it still didn't turn out. I use to use this brand around 4 years ago and it was great! But they must have changed the ingredients because it's utter rubbish now. Don't waste your money. Show details
